I think the face is okay, and I mean it's better than this.

Which it was based on. Anyway, this new rebirth version's head is a tad small for the body.

McFarlane Clayface looks way better with his mouth closed.

 

It's just incredible. The DCAU made me a much bigger fan of DC than Marvel, and this line has like 100 figures at this point, yet there's still virtually nothing to buy. I really thought there'd be more variety two years in.

 

What do you mean? There’s at least 20 different Batmans to choose from. If that’s not variety, I don’t know what is.

 

Completely agree. And Hasbro's Marvel sculpts (especially the women) are pretty subpar and I grimace a lot when I am trying to decide whether to buy them or not, but I have to hand it to them for doing relevant, well thought out waves and getting at least two or so super minor characters out with each wave of core characters.

Todd's megalomania though... we get Bat wave, Bat wave, Bat wave, uh... here's Aquaman, Bat Wave, Bat Wave. The sculpts are pretty damn nice, and the figures are fun to play with, so it's a shame/waste that he's really trolling DC fans here.

 

I think the MCU was only possible because Marvel didn't have X-Men rights and had to develop different strengths. WB won't rival it without de-focusing on Batman.

 

That's why I think the DCEU can really benefit from Batman being its own thing.

Endless Winter Wave is up most places now...

Now that it's up, I really am annoyed by how lazy that John Stewart GL is. I mean, new swords and the hands are green now, and that's it??? At the very least, he should have had either a new head, or half a dozen other new energy parts. SMH. Definite "F" for effort here. Also, it's cringeworthy annoying that Diana seems to have been gold at one point as seen on the card, but the actual toy ends up being mustard yellow... knowing Todd, though, they'll probably just re-release the same toy as a single pack with the gold added a month or two later. SMH AGAIN.

It looks like Endless Winter Wonder Woman's head piece doesn't even match the comic books?

The card art doesn't have the side pieces, and when she does have them they go straight down, they don't cut in?

 

He takes some pretty creative license with these book inspired designs, it was the same on Death Metal Wonder Woman--just little things, but the shape of her crown, the animal skulls, all slightly different from the comic pages.

 

Just got back from walgreens and scpred with batman that laughs flying/winged bats or hawkman w/merciless baf! Had almostngiven up on getting this! Now just need the baf torso that came with crow laughing robin!
