Looks good, but I demand Ratbat first! And then Overkill! And then Slugfest! And then Squawktalk! And then Beastbox!
When the cool 'cons are all done, then you can crack on with the boring Autobot tapes.

The impression I got was that Steeljaw was too early in the process for MMC to be ready for pre-orders. They just showed what they had to placate those of us that kept harping about them not getting updates. That was probably better than leaving things with no updates until they were ready for releasing them at this rate.

I got the same impression, and it's been a few months so hopefully it's soon-ish.

I noticed it at TFCon over the weekend too, Steeljaw seems to have a real problem with the ground, always having his blasters facing down to shoot it.

Interesting that they gave Eject and Rewind different shoulders.

I was gonna say the same thing. My nitpicks would be how thin these are and those legs from knee to toes look funny. I'm digging Steeljaw though.

True but won't stop me from instabuying these. Can't wait...MMC are reliably awesome.

What's the source of the photo? Is there an announcement or an ETA for them?

It looks like they got different eye sculpts too.
They were always the more important cassettes too. Rumble is memorable from the Hoover Dam episode, and Frenzy being the mold mate. I only remember Eject and Rewind from their brief appearance in the G1 movie when they transform out of Blaster's chest.

Oh cool the swappable shoulder pads are still happening I just realized. Wasn't sure about those.

They have square toon ones and more angular toy based ones. I think there was even a longer idw set but they prevent transformation from working so not sure if those will make it to the final figures.

Personally I found mmc's Rumble and Frenzy fairly disappointing with their oddly limited shoulder range and annoyingly tight shin panels. These however are much more naturally posable it seems I expect I'll enjoy them a lot more.
