Thanks a lot. I managed to get them all. Minus the Gold one that I already got. Right now, I'm iffy on the display case.
I'm pretty much happy with how they are individually packed already. But same, iffy because it's a complete set.
That's another thing. I wonder if I can redeem all codes in one order and I wonder if codes will still be good if my next purchase is rumored to be in early March.
Shoot I didn't even think about that - just tried and it's only letting me add one promo code for one order. Grr. Might have to ask customer service if they can override. What are you planning to pick up in March?
That's another thing. I still have enough VIP points for up to $100 purchase. Was hoping to save that for the rumored Boba Fett's Palace in March. But if only one code is valid for each purchase, I may have to plan something ahead. Plus I never used VIP points for online purchases before so I don't know if there is a code after and that counts as the one code redeem.
I got all 5 coins and the holder, but then I was reading the comments on brickset and someone pointed out that it's one promo code per order. #%@#$ I really wasn't planning on doing 6 orders from lego.com in the next 2 months. Not sure what I'll do as of right now. If anyone has success getting them to add all to a single order, let us know here. There is tons of stuff out of stock so there is barely anything worth buying even if I have to. Another option might be to just order whatever to get free shipping and then return it to the lego store, but that would be a pain to have to go down there (it is a little ways away from me) and not sure how they'd react if I returned stuff from 6 orders all at once.
That's another thing. Tried planning out my next purchases, but there is not that much stock right now. Hoping to have more stock in the next 2 months. At the moment, I only have 2 purchases planned.
There is another, separate place to enter a code to use VIP points for money, later in the checkout process (when you enter payment). The code for a rewards item, like the coin, is entered in the cart, before you start the checkout. So you can use both in one order, I've done that before. The other thing too is that when you return an online purchase to the store, you only get store credit back, so that's another hassle. I don't think they would give you a hard time about returning 6 orders. I'm going to reach out to CS when I have a minute to see if there's another way.
I could swear I've bought stuff on lego.com and returned to the lego store before and it goes back on to my credit card. I don't think I've ever had to accept store credit, even when returning something that had a promo/GWP included in the invoice.
Darn, that sucks. With everything going on I haven't really been there in probably that long or longer...
Lego Marvel 2022 Mechs are BACK ON. April 1. LEGO Marvel 2022 Mechs Relisted for April 1 Release - The Brick Fan
I'm sure it will be back, maybe later this year. When the Christmas Wreath was released in 2020 it also sold out fast and was hard to get for a while, but it made a return in 2021. If I see Santa's Sleigh back in stock again I'll post here and tag you. I had no doubt Lego would sort it out, just a matter of when.
@OCProwl here's my current plan for the Coins. Hopefully if Boba Fett's Palace and the Dark Trooper Battle packs are in by then, I'll do 2 separate orders. Currently I'm planning on getting the Sonic set, but waiting to see if I can add to it to get the Chinese New Year Tiger. But that now leaves one more purchase between the Sonic set till March 1st. Did you manage to get hold of Customer Service?
Used the new Doc Ock mini from the 4+ set with some tweaked arms from the Monster Truck set Doc Ock to make a pretty fantastic Carolyn Trainer. Pictured here unknowingly about to attack her namesake. Something I always wanted to see during the Superior Spider-Man was Otto fight Lady Octopus. He would have totally dismantled her, but I still wanted it.
