Well Hasbro already has Fan Fest, Pulsecon, fan first Fridays, and random reveals throughout the year.

I’m not sure why anyone is worried about not seeing new product, it’ll just be a steady trickle instead of one big drop.

If it's anything like Kingdom, Legacy wave 2 will get an online reveal either through IGN or a fan first Friday. Then wave 3 will be shown at a Spring Fan Fest along with the Titan and Commander.

Maybe there is this concern because there are products (such as silerstreak / bluestreak) that have already arrived in the ports and are ready to go out in the shops but having not been announced they are not preordable and it is not even clear what kind of exclusive it is. this can be a big problem for those who cannot rush to buy them where they will come out ...

That was my understanding as well. It's really more of an industry networking event. I think the attendance of reviewers is probably the bigger loss for us fans, but it's not like there won't be reveals and other opportunities.

It would be nice if they had a display or diorama or something in the works if they could still show it off on a stream or whatever. I always enjoy those.

Considering what Toy Fair is meant for, I am not surprised. It stinks for sure, but I doubt that there won't be other means of official reveals of toys through other channels.

    Yup.

It's just not worth it. Even if companies want to go... people don't want to go.

Whenever they decide, honestly. That's the beauty of it.

That's typically not an answer anyone is going to get in any situation so asking for it is a pointless since it's not going to change what you do about it moving forward.

Sad news from a toy collectors perspective but completely expected and the right thing to do.
Now we just have to wait for Hasbro to get around to doing something on their schedule again.

I'm finding it harder and harder to care about Toyfair. It's unnecessary with today's technology, so why bother at all?

I know Hasbro did a blanket reveal last year in place of Toy Fair through their live stream. I do wonder if other companies will do the same.

Why couldn\'t the Toy Association make it virtual instead? Why couldn\'t the Toy Association just IGNORE the pandemic?
