Don't know what it is abt this Megs, but I may end up getting it!!

 

Oh boy. I can’t wait for all of the unoriginal “This is what movie Megatron should’ve looked like to begin with” takes that this figure is surely going to produce. It does look really amazing though.

 

For sure there’s already lots of people saying that because it’s not really an original take on the character at all. It’s just “G1 with more details” which is fine but not what I want from live action designs.

 

Taking Devastator apart for the first time in ages so I could rearrange my shelf space, and I wanted to take some time to appreciate this lad since I haven't done so in a while





They really did a great job on him considering it was the first (and probably only) go of it at this scale. The vehicle mode suffers a little for the robot mode, and I wish his knees had a bit more bend in them, but otherwise he's wonderfully expressive, even with those weird hands of his

Yea, I def wouldn't go around saying that that is what Megs should look like, nor would I agree that it's G1 Megs with more detail.

I simply just love the design in both modes, the paint, and the gorgeous face sculpt!! This honestly reminds me more of War Within Megs.

Definitely took inspiration from a couple other board members

 

All of the BB movie designs are based on G1 designs. This Megatron is based off of a fan design that is a “what Megatron might have looked like in the Bb movie”. Of course it’s going to look G1. So far only ones who’ve brought in any G1 vs Bayverse debate with the figure has been you guys. The thread for em has just been excitement for the figure.

Can't wait to add MPM Megatron to the collection so I can put him alongside these amazing figures. Also, SS ROTF Megs is such a good toy, I just moved him around for the first time in a little while and damn is he posable!

 

That Megatron is an absolute monster! Regardless of what people might say he is a damn good looking megatron. Id love to see him in a less metallic/more gray look like the fan art version.

 

I was more discussing theoretical commenters. I was responding to another comment not the original post about the figure. This megatron design personally doesn’t do much for me although it is cool.

 

Fair enough, but Galvatron at this point is trying to start something with imaginary comments…

 

This guy is amazing.......... A little bit too big when scaled with UT Challenger but he's still the best option.

 

Is that the battle damage KO or a custom?
