Personally, I would have preferred if they went with metallic silver wings, but this looks good too I suppose. Something different.

 

This is a perfectly acceptable G1-style Kickback at the Deluxe scale that I have no interest in because I am content with the previous perfectly acceptable G1-style Kickback at Legends scale.

 

Did we already know about Sandstorm III?

 

Too big. Legends scale is more accurate to the scale chart.

 

I'm loving it! Big upgrade over the last version. If Bombshell and Shrapnel are this nice I'm definitely building a swarm!

 

This is the Kickback I have been waiting for. I wish it came with a wrist swivel, although it won´t upset me too much. I especially like the face sculpt. I´ve heard people complain about the energon weapons like it´s partsforming when it really isn´t. The scythes aren´t needed to form the alt mode and are only attached to the wings as weapon storage.

 

We need the rest of the insecticons at a deluxe form, it\'s been too long since we\'ve had proper insecticon toys and the last trio was in the prime wars trilogy

Y'know, this guy looks really excellent but I still prefer the legends Insecticons. The smaller size gives them a more clear identity and personality IMO. Plus legends Kickback surprisingly has the better bug mode. I think I'm content to keep those and get these molds as the deluxe Insecticons, which feels appropriate for the size class.

 

Possible that this one didn't have that because it's typically QC errors that fall off the truck. (Or the reviewer missed a step much like they did with Dragstrip's split)

 

They'll probably release the other Insecticons like they've been releasing the rest of the Dinobots.

Prepare to be much older by the time you have a complete set.

Wow, we're hitting a lot of news today.

This is my most anticipated wave 1 release. I love insecticons. The more the merrier.

G1 Kickback was one of my first TFs I ever played with.
I really like how this looks and Legacy really does put the last Kickback to shame as that comparison really shows how TR Kickback was wrong in several places. . THIS is the Kickback update we needed.

 

Kickback looks awesome. I hope Shrapnel and Bombshell are as well done when they eventually get released.

They are supposed to be shorter then Mirage, going by the cartoon AND the scale chart.

 

I think most will just display without the energon weapons.
