It seems like DNA's upgrade kit for BZ is all in, unlike Scorponok's more piecemeal releases, so you might be stuck with the leg extensions.

 

Got a few new additions from the last couple weeks to show. First was from shortly before going on Christmas/New Years vacation (Devastator), then arrived while I was out (Battletrap and Refraktor from @BraveMax on the BST forum), then arrived just the other day (Puffer/Road Ranger).

So first up I've got the Jimbao OSKO Gravity Builder. I've never liked toon accurate Devastator/Constructicons and I wanted these Construction vehicle to big BIG. This fit the bill of a much nicer look with a great size that makes them tower over cars in vehicle mode, as they should. I perfer this much over the rather puny SS Constructicons. Dev isn't super stable in combined mode but he's good fun. All six look great in robot and vehicle modes. And even as the last figure I got in 2021, this easily finds its way into my top 10 figures of the year.



Next is some great new mooks for my Decepticon army. I think the Reflector set completes my 1984 Transformers, which is very exciting. The camera mode is honestly very cool and the individual bots are nice generic bots, as Reflectors should be. The shoulder pads and flash gun are nice extra accessories but the... folding panel is dreadful outside of camera mode. Oh well, still a very fun set (and since it was sealed, it did have Kremzeek but I forgot to get a photo). Battletrap is good fun as well, I like the compatibility with Flywheels (I forgot to grab a photo of them together) and the extra bot modes are a fun addition. Megatron will be happy to have these four/five to bolster his ranks.



And finally, Puffer and Road Ranger. Not too much to say about them since I've had Huffer for months now, but I do really enjoy these new decos. The remolding on Puffer is really nice and he's easily my favorite of the mold so far. Looking forward to getting Pipes to complete the four.

Next set of figures due to arrive are XTB Janssen and Core Hot Rod. FT Rig to follow them and the upscale kits from Taobao to make my Jinbao OS Devy look more like TW Constructor minus QC issues .

 

Today's post cost contained the senses shattering conclusion to one of the most exciting and ambitious crossovers of our times.

Had to go against my self-imposed spending lockdown because the price of Huffer suddenly jumped from $20 to $25. So I've just sent for Huffer.

I won't be charged until they release, but I've pre ordered Soundwave (Bumblebee) Kickback and Dragstrip.

 

Wow, I was shocked to see the price of that BZ upgrade kit. It's almost as much as BZ itself.  

 

I picked up a G1 Roadbuster at a toy convention for $5. No accessories but the figure itself is in good shape.

 

Quick question: one of the pieces on my Cyclonus figure's pistol broke off and I don't know where it popped off to. I contacted haspulse, trying to see if they could send a replacement pistol, but I suspect they'll tell me to return the entire figure. Is there a seller that Has replacement guns or...? Really not sure what to do here. I don't want to return it, but that broken piece is going to drive me crazy.

 

I got a little boom box! Randomly saw this in Target the other day along with T-Wrecks and didn’t dare miss him. Really makes me wish I hadn’t missed out on Soundwave but nothing I can do about it.

I hope they repaint Eject into Rewind and maybe give us some more tapes for Blaster eventually. I wouldn’t mind a Selects release of Rewind, Stripes and Sundor if nothing else.

Mine is using a replacement head for the regular Power Baser that was included with Orange Power Baser, to mimmick the box art.

 

These posts give me hope I’ll find him soon. Also Twrecks is a gray figure. Did you get him also?
