Thomas is great but $300 the piece? No way...

Besides I am not a fan of his cartoon accurate alt-modes.

 

I don't have Thomas, but FT definitely could have given a slightly more menacing face sculpt.


I also think he should be bigger, but that's just my personal preference.

 

Make him a significant retool of their Scourge mold.

 

I can't think of one good reason why that's even crossed anyone's mind. Between standard mp36 and mp36+ you have everything you'd ever need in a modern Megatron.

 

Agree 100% about the face sculpt. I actually find FT faces have been very generic, and lacking personality lately.

 

XTB can certainly be relied upon for more realistic alt modes, that's for sure!

 

I still want Magten reissued. That paintjob was my favorite.

But would be interested to see if XTB or another designer could make a Megs with a cleaner, more unified look and build, like around his arms and shoulders area.

 

Since X-TB/KFC already announced various Quintessons (and released Dr. Egg), I assume, that the Alicons, and Sharkticons are also on their list.

 

I really don't care who does it, as long as it's done reasonably well. TE would be great, too. I feel carbots shouldn't be above $100. They're just not very big and generally notthat complicated and I'm tired of pricing gouging for brand (Fanstoys...ahem) or just the popularity of a character.

I considered buying the Fansproject trio, but despite being cool, they’re rather CHUGgy. And they don’t include Venom, who was my favorite (and which I fortunately still have!).

The faces are lacking because FT does such a good job replicating the animation. It’s not a failure, just a disappointing achievement.

 

Yeah i'm very certain the Sharkticons are since their Le Pouple (Quintesson Inquisitor) had the line of "feed them to the shark robots". No way they'd let that one or the Allicons slide without making them.

 

As much as I despise the XTB Menasor trailer, their Stunticon team is good to great, and more importantly, they've actually milked those molds *properly*. I can't hate on any of the recolors as they all each serve a collector's niche. XTB does do that well, for the most part.

 

Keep going after stuff that others haven’t done. The omnibots / counterpunch / battlechargers are great examples.

i’d like them to do topspin + twintwist, and the clones like pounce + wingspan.

tempted to say terrorcons + seacons as well, but i feel like Zeta would be fine to do those.

targetmasters are welcome as well, especially the decepts.

 

Since XTB is working on Deathsaurus, they would definitely have my money if they could pull off Liokaiser too. Would love to see that done in MP form!

Edit: Would want a Deathcobra figure to use as an alternate limb too.

 

I'm not buying MP's anymore, but a 2-pack of Bot & Con clones would have me throwing money at the computer.
