To anyone that has the leafage upgrade head, how do you remove the head for transformation? Pop it off at the ball joint or unscrew the bottom every time?

 

Nevermind, I got it. Lubed up his thighs, biceps, doors, and neck, so now he's golden. Still a little terrified to try and transform him, though.

 

so what did you use to get to the hard to reach places?

 

Ball joint. Although mine is modded so it can transform

PD: 0 issues while transforming. The only thing I can add is that the pipes where too tight but they went thru... anyway I just did the same as thights (nail filer goes brrrr) so I can enjoy this masterpiece. I feel like I can transform this guy 500 times and still nothing to break but I still will try my best not to just in case.

 

I saw pics, that was a really great move. Did you make any guide?

 

I mostly just put a droplet or two on the joints and moved it around until it eased up.

That's the one mod I didn't do myself. @savio-prime did it for me! Basically it involves putting the matrix chamber on hinges and removing lots of material from the inside.

 

Is this thread just for the Black Apple Oversized MPM-4?

I ask as I recently ordered LS-03F by Black Mamba and received Knight Of Light KM-01. The figure and accessories look the same and somebody here described it as a new run. I was hoping that somebody here had some more information on it. Is it a KO? Is the maker still Black Mamba? How long has this been happening and does anybody have any issues with the KM-01 version?

I was told by my vendor that Black Mamba wasn't putting their name on the packaging anymore. Surfing through Aliexpress, it seemed like they were also Aoyi-Mech (although I can't remember why I thought so.) They seem to be cycling through new names for their non-KO stuff, too -- Transform Element & Deformation Space.

I see now. Oversized KO Optimus Prime - Heavily Modified is for Black Apple MPM-4, whereas Oversized KO Optimus Prime - Lightly Modified is for Black Mamba LS-03. Thanks for the info.

 

Sorry for the late reply, just had time to take pictures and transform him back to robot mode.

I figured that the grey part (highlighted in blue) had some mold flesh that was causing the stress on the door hinge, and that was indeed the case, it's a semi hexagonal-shaped hinge so all I did was shave the edges with an exacto and that fixed the issue for me, I've transformed mine about 5 times without any issue.
