Always loved that mold. The head robots upgrade for him is pretty sweet too.

    Right? Still. Never say never.

You know what that's fair. Not like they are manufacturing themselves. I sometimes forget hasbro UK seem to be fairly far down the pecking order when stock is being allocated. Still remember the shitshow that was Siege chroma.

Happy birthday to @kgorman79 and @GrahamFA

@motorthing Wow that quality is not good at all, but the figure looks amazing for that shattered glass starscream.

My studio series jazz arrived today, quality looks good, no lose joints and the clear plastic doesn't ( not yet anyway) have the crack in it.
I've added him to the autobot strike team, god they look great .

Do you think that they will come down in price more ? I'm tempted to get the ark just for resale value ? But unsure if it's worth it.

We bought omega supreme earlier in the year ( gutted as my son lost the little countdown figure at school so we no longer have that), for 140, and scorponok came to 210 ( delivery and import costs came to 60). Both these figures seem to definitely retain there price ( not that I'm ever selling them as they are fantastic, but I do wonder if the ark has that same appeal

Really sucks to hear so many SG figures being duds. Is it degradation of moulds at this point?

I just returned my broken Netflix Chromia to Smyths, and of course there were none left to replace it with. Aaah well.

So 6 bots turned up today. More are incoming. My recollection of them is hazy at best. I bought them while lightly toasted over the Christmas and New Year period and have really got to reconsider how I go about things and be a bit more sensible over the next few weeks. Bingeing takes the fun out of it a little.

    — Edit: aaaand a new Trainbot is announced. Siiiiigh.

Nice collection, I even saw dirge in there, for those that get the joke!

That looks epic. Now I want one, and the lights.

    My wallet hates you!

    Great pic

Happy new year all, finally in 2022!

The Prophets say if Big Doug ever catches us up all of time and space collapses in on itself leaving only a microscopic singularity that Hermes will then lose down the back of their depot sofa.

We cannot let that happen, post faster everyone.

Those pics remind me I actually own FOUR whole Baybots.......that Mad Max Truck Megatron Thing, Hound and Wreckage/Bludgeon. Dear God that stings.

And on the subject of Everything I hate I become: I don't hate the second TT MP Traindude. This after I ordered the first one. I'm in grave danger of becoming a Company Man at this rate.

    Eeeeeurghhhhhhh!

I'd probably avoid getting the Ark for resale value tbh, it's even in Argos. There's so many around there's no way it won't hit £80 soon. And likely folks will still hang on for another reduction! It's definitely got a few problems too, on an awful lot of copies the shoulder ratchet breaks and in Ark mode the middle often doesn't tab together.
    ...

If you missed the good version of GI Joe Roadblock... (I'd also recommend adding something with a PO date then cancelling if need be for free delivery ;) )

Why someone didn't do an OSKO in a leader class + of TR Broadside with a helmet flip down thing like Soundwave/Sixshot... would have bought that in a heartbeat

It's really sad to see the issues with the SG figures.

I had an eye on Jetfire but the price put me off a bit. Looks as though it may have been a bullet dodged.

Let's see... alt, robot, torso, legs:
    1. Hotshot: yes, no, no, meh
    2. Inferno: yes, yes, yes, meh
    3. Rodimus: yes, yes, no, yes
    4. Prowl: yes, meh, yes, yes
    5. Optimus: yes, yes, no, OHGODNOplease
    6. Downshift: yes, yes, yes, meh
    7. Towline: yes, yes, yes, N/A
    8. Ironhide: meh, yes, yes, yes
    9. Jetfire: no, no, no, yes
    10. Cliffjumper: yes, no, yes, yes
These ten culprits were already specialised to some extent (in bold), with some being pretty good all around (Downshift, Prowl, Ironhide) and some being pretty much failures (Hotshot, Jetfire).
But it seems that 2/3 of the potential of the Powerlinx gimmick was achieved, and at least 7/10 figures would deserve to be purchased for their specific qualities.
Hotshot, Optimus and Jetfire, however, were clearly designed by a door stopper.

That's right losers, it's Rescue Bots Servo! He's a very good boy!

Honestly, there aren't nearly enough dogs in Transformers. I mean, K-9 and occasionally Ravage if he's been drawn badly, but not much else. How come there wasn't even one in Action Masters? Shameful.

I mean, the two Energon monsters could end up looking like anything. I'm up for weird and random, but of course I'll wait until we've seen it first.

As for the list, it'll keep growing as the weeks go by, and as I remember various things that I'd considered getting but forgot about. But right now it's things like Cybertron Evac (in my head he's a grown-up version of Blaze Master), RotF Deadlift, various other randos from the RID15 line like Quillfire, Generations Warpath (or the Strika redeco if I'm very lucky), Cybertron Crumplezone... y'know, mostly the sort of characters that don't exist in Generations. Hopefully TFN will get me a few of them.

Honestly... I'm really surprised that it hasn't happened yet, and kind of concerned that if a Cyberverse Tarn were to happen, we'd know about it by now. I mean yes, I too shall stand by my MMC big lad, as he's about as perfect as can be, but obviously that's not an option for most people and a really fancy Cyberverse ultra or deluxe would go down hecka smooth.

Very likely, aye! It might also be that the RED figure's head would be a potential swap. I like the look of that guy, but it's a no-go for me as I need my bots to transform.

Holy shit, that's inexcusable. Just appalling to be shipping incomplete products like that.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. And an excuse to finally get me to get the Siege Springer mould? I'll take it.

Once again I am reminded that I wasn't going to get any of the Beast Wars figures from Kingdom. Then I actually watched the show...

    Oops.

Same boat as you, they’ve got a really special charm I can’t quite place. I wasn’t a Beast Wars kid as I just missed it but I do remember the repacks in Armada such as Terrorsaur although that was his transmetal form. I never liked those weirdly enough, just thought they looked kinda crap.

I also said I wouldn’t be getting them, did my best to avoid them, but one thing led to another. Last 3 Predacons (4 if I do end up with Agent Ravage) before I close the chapter on this part of my collection, Shadow Panther can get in the bin.

Yeah... just need Terrorsaur, Tarantulas and Inferno.

Luckily I have no desire for anything past the season one cast, the Transmetal looks never grabbed me as much as the organic beast modes did.
