Just seen the eagle one go up on showz for thundercracker. But they also have another which looks to be a direct KO but it's £30 more? Which one is better or have any differences if anyone knows? I've got the original MP 52 but gonna go KO for the others.

 

in a round about way, yes....There's been some videos posted in this thread of the Eagle vs the 4th Pary KO. Then there's videos on YouTube of the KO vs the genuine TT. From what I can tell, they're all basically the same color. Maybe slight shade variations, but not much.

Your best bet is to read this thread and the 4th Party KO thread. There's discussion of this very thing and even videos posted showing the diffrences. I don't think anyone state side has either one in hand, so the videos that have been posted will be your best look.

I only have what's posted in this thread already. There's at least one video of a comparison of Eagle to the KO. Members here even posted translations since the videos were in Chinese e. Then if you search YouTube you'll find video comparisons of the KO to the genuine.

 

Hard to be 100% sure, but it looks like the Eagle version (left) is very slightly lighter than the regular KO (right)

Well with EG-01 they have two small holes on the front of the hips rather than just the sides like the official.
For the straight KO I’m not as sure.

 

I'd watch a few videos on YouTube that compare them. It's a direct 1:1 KO so you may not be able to tell.

 

Does anyone have experience with Lenspie Robot Store on AliXpress? I ordered EG-01 last Friday and it still hasn't shipped.

 

I ordered the upscale TC bumblebee from them a couple of weeks ago and they shipped it about a week after. I didn't receive it yet though. Since it's AliExpress, if they don't ship by deadline, then it gets automatically refunded anyway.

That was the fastest I've ever recieved anything from showz! Order it on Dec 27th, stateside and to my door today, wow! Based on the shipping box,(and some of the quality control)I'm confident this is BMB/TE/DS or whatever the hell you want to call them. Just keep that in mind. So a quick overview, all the joints are tight, knees specifically are now much better. The ankles are better, and they are on a screw so I might try tightening them a little bit. There's not really any sprue marks on mine so I can't say much for that. One face has a mold issue, though i might make a little cigar for him lol   The paint looks good for the most part. There are some areas particularly around the abs, and crouch on my copy that are applied pretty sloppy, though it might clean up. I suppose ymmv. Yeah the blast effects don't fit the null rays but they do fit the mini megatron fwiw, and the thruster effects don't even come close to fitting...Lol. I haven't transformed him yet, so I don't know yet if there's any more susceptible cracking, but I'll do it tomorrow. Also might mention, the new holes on the crotch have something to do with the pins for the hip skirts. Almost like it was meant to give access to remove them? Maybe its just to differentiate from the official? Not sure, it's an odd choice. So far though, I'd say he's worth it, it's a bummer the accessories are nearly worthless, but at 1/3 of the cost of the official(which I also have) and the ability to get aftersales...I'd get over it.

 

Yeah, very tempted to get this. I would want to make (or attempt to make) some changes and with this base quality, price and screws it seems like a good choice.

Only wondering if I should out in hopes of a toy coloured version...

I've gone with the Crimson Wings versions of the three original seekers. I am interested in this KO too but not going to buy multiples of the same character- hopefully they make a Sunstorm or Acid Storm or something quickly so I can see how they compare.

Yeah I like both molds equally so I decided on getting both and having DS for the bots and MP52 for jet mode.

 

I ordered my Acoustic Wave, TE03, WJMP44, THF01 and IT01 from them, all in diff orders. decent shipping time of 2-3 weeks. Boxes were immaculate every time (except THF01. That thing was battered, but I'm not a stickler for boxes, unless its a FT).
It's a good idea to look at the store review. Anything below 95% is iffy. Below 90% is a def no-go.

I use Aliexpress a lot for TF, but after recently discovering ShowZ, I realise the prices aren't great, unless you're buying a cheap carbot KO.

Do you know why "official consolidation air freight" is cheaper at 58Yuan vs "official consolidation sea freight" at 66Y? Also "surface mail" (which is by sea?) is 180Y and so is EMS. While "Express" is only 18Y... Am I missing something?
