Here’s another older MOC I decided to refresh, I originally made it about 10 years ago. The arms, hands, legs, and feet are brand new.
Yes, though I haven't seen it done in practice. The review on Brickset highlights this near the end: Review: 31120 Medieval Castle The main castle build hinges open on clips. Each build features the same clips, so it would be possible to link all three separate builds together. I'm hoping the Castle eventually goes on sale somewhere. I'd love to pick up a couple more for that reason. Also, regarding the HZD Tallneck: I did some digging and found some articles that reported on the leak. Apparently the listing showed up on a German retailer. It was listed as an 18+ set under a rumored "Lego Gaming" heading/theme. Don't remember if that was mentioned here. Sadly, this makes it seem like it's a one-off. Hopefully it does well enough to convince Lego to do more Horizon sets. I'd love to have Lego versions of the other machines.
I saw earlier in the thread that someone got some of the Bricklink Designer sets already. Anyone else waiting on theirs to ship?
Most of the people who have gotten theirs are in Europe. It was stated somewhere that North America should expect a delay of at least a month or two. Probably won’t get the sets until February at the earliest.
I misread VictoryLeo19's initial question but I believe Jangbricks does indeed show all three different unique builds combined together into a larger fortress: All three builds connected is shown starting at the 26:00 minute mark.
Okay cool. Got a message on December 2nd saying they were charging soon so just wanted to check. Though my order not appearing on their website is quite worrisome, haha.
I’m in the same boat. Ordered the castle but haven’t been able to check the order confirmation they gave me. I guess I’ll know when the charge hits lol.
Bring Home the Bounty is going to continue for another 6 weeks. I predict we will see the Dark Trooper Battle Pack and Boba Fett's Palace at that time.
So, I’m coming in here with a bit of a different post. Anyone here heard of the Third Party company Moon Studio and their new Masterpiece Trainbots/Raiden? Pretty cool right? Only, you can probably notice all of the promotional pictures have them displayed on Lego track. Pretty cool… only I got the first one in and discovered this. It comes with a Lego compatible coupler, meaning it can pull Lego Train cars. EDIT: It is important to note, though, that even though they may be able to rest on Lego track and connect with Lego cars, they are massive, unmotorized, and full of die-cast. The only ones that would really work would be Getsuei and Kaen, as they are frieght trains and freight cars very in size and build. Considering the massive…. Gerth, of the Moon Studio figures, passenger cars would not look “right” with them unless they were around 8-10 studs wide.
Continuing to refine this one (paneling around the shoulders/hips/knees/ankles/top, extra set of lights, tweaked colors). Probably will experiment with the cockpit area next.
Just bought all the pieces for my heavily customized version of the gwp 1989 Keatonmobile, set 40433. I've had this little minifig scale version for a while but I've been looking at it recently and thinking that at this size, a lot could be improved. So I spent a couple hours worth of time modding the design in Mecabricks and now I've bought all the pieces from Bricklink. My pieces will be coming in the mail in the next weeks and I'll post physical pics once it's built. I'll try to give a more in depth explanation of what all went into this model redesign once I get it built and can take some proper pictures Here's the link to my public model on Mecabricks. It's got a 3d render you can spin around to look at the model from any angle. It's also got a piece list that you can export to Bricklink if you'd like to build the model yourself, although there are no instructions, and I wouldn't recommend it until I get the thing built physically so I can check I haven't made any errors that a program wouldn't catch, like pieces that arents connected securely or bricks that clip through each other Mecabricks.com | GWP 1989 Batmobile customized
I finally got around to taking photos of all my VadersVault original trilogy lightsabers with their Lego MOC hilt counterparts (courtesy of Demonhunterbricks on Etsy). The scale is pretty close to 1:1 on most of them.
Does anyone besides me believe that each Lego piece is a sentient being? I do. & I believe they are all inherently lazy too. I look & look for a piece that I know I have but it just vanishes & then when I have to move on and change my plans, it shows up! "Oh hey boss, you don't need me anymore? But I was here the whole time! Honest"
