Looks incredible......but where's Bandit?

 

Looking at this thing harder it looks like it has quite a nice ab crunch and waist swivel deal going on.


It also fixes one of the biggest gripes I have with most figures, knee gap fillers. Yay!


He's also got the big ol' M on the door like the toy which I think is a cool detail, as well as the back of the truck looks like the og toy down to the little feet nubs!

 

I actually think this guy looks really good.

Now just need an Overlord.

 

I don't see big improvement on Pipes. So is it worth giving 100- 120 USD instead of Badcube version I remember it was 60 USD.

 

So very welcome character from Fanstoys. Those tyres when they are set wider in alt mode makes it look like Pipes. It’s the specific thing i’ve hoped for.

This is where I draw the line. Come on, have some common sense, FansToys! At least make it foldable?

(Anyway, I don't plan to buy Pipes.   But I must say it is spot on.)

 

He's very excited in the cartoon so they transferred that over to this guy as well.

Pipes looks great, but I'm not pickin up Huffer.

 

Google how the original Pipes toy look like. These are the seats in alt mode.

They stopped taking liberties from S2 onwards, possibly due to complaints the toys looked nothing like the cartoon.  

Little did they know 30 years later, some gifted designers could replicate the cartoon look.

 

I love it but I think we will see him in two years like powerglide and outback? In the meantime, Badcubes Pipes will do its job as a Piper display.  

 

I have an odd affection for BC Pipes & Huffer. They're pretty decent figures with a kind of charm to them. I'll get the FT versions but my BC are safe too.

Looks like it's going to be a pretty simple transformation too. Collapse the lower legs into the shins, flip his pipes down around his forearms & fists, unfold his backpack and bring it forward over his head & chest and your done!
