MMC are great figures, the best cassettes probably. But IMO they do not look good on an MP shelf since they're way too big. They need an extra display. RP tapes are perfect for what I want. Ravage destroys the official one, Frumble looks (!) a lot better than the official one, Laserbeak is also a minor improvement.

 

That’s where I’m coming from. I had the MMC tapes and sold them. Primarily because while they do have more detail (and articulation), they are WAY too big.

I want them all to fit as they should, inside the cassette bay.

 

I hate that I'm doing this and using scenes in a widely inconsistent cartoon to argue a point but....



I guess if ppl can use it for TE Starscream then it can be used here. MMC's look just fine.

Either way. Options to fit all tastes are now available. On my shelf FT FRumble are gonna fill up the chest cavity never to be seen by the sunlight. FT Ravage is going into a cage next to Hound. Laserbeak is the MVP in this set.

 

No need for proves, we've gone through this several times. You're right, and so am I. It's your preference vs mine. That's why I wrote IMO. Maybe one day I'll get MMC Ravage and (hopefully) Ramhorn as stand alones. I like them the most. - But feel free to post more animation errors that show gigantic cassettes.  

 

Some reason my mind always goes to when rumble ever interacted with humans, when it comes to scale, so I don't mind the cassettes being tiny. My mind making excuses I guess, but yeah there's an animation error for everybody hah

To me is all about functionality, the cassette bots have to fit in Soundwave's chest, plain and simple.

 

I got that in-stock notification too but I had to request a paypal invoice when it seemed obvious that they forgot to send me one.

Anyone gotten theirs from AgesThree&Up? I sent the second payment about a month ago and have heard nothing since

 

I recently purchased some transformers from ages three and up immediate payment and received it within a week from Canada to Texas and they didn't even tell me they sent it until like a day before I got it or I can't remember if I asked or not but I bought a few things from them here recently pre-orders also just chimming in on toy dojo, they're on a very tight ship and a very little tight room great shop nice people.. and I just ordered online from there recently even though I'm about 45 minutes away

 

I haven't gotten any pick up notification from A3U yet, so I wouldn't worry. They send the invoice for payment weeks ahead of actually receiving their shipments. We are also currently having a lot of shipping slow downs when shipping from BC to the rest of Canada, but shipments into the US shouldn't have any additional delays. Flooding caused a lot of road closures during December.

 

So where is the QC sticker on the cassettes?

 

Cassettes that don’t fit into Soundwave’s chest are useless to me. MMC’s look pretty cool and are likely the most “playable/posable” but they do nothing for me.

Also I personally think every single cassette looks leagues better than the MP-13 ones. No amount of “takera” or labels give them any sort of “value” in my eyes.

I dunno lol, are you sure? I still think they're goofy looking now and when I first got them those many years ago. The arms are more simpler, which would make it more aesthetically pleasing. But the overall proportions of the bots look leagues better from RP.

I'm honestly over the microcassette look for these guys. I wish they would just make them thicker rectangle boxes that are like twice the depth rather than tapes. They'll still fit inside the cassette compartment but they'll have more material to give us a properly sized bot without having to trade off on looks because there's less to work with.
