BigW has World's Smallest Micro Toy:
    - Individual blind bag in box, including non-transforming Optimus, Bumblebee & Starscream. Actual toy could be identical to the clamshell packaged product?
    - 10-pack with 4 as mystery items. Series 1 with 50 items in series. Looks like same Optimus, Bumblebee & Starscream.

Toyworld has World's Smallest Micro Toy in 20 (or 15?) pack format. Same Series 1 with 50 items in collection.

I've seen videos about these on YouTube. I was hoping they would eventually make their way here.

From what I can tell, the carded figures (Transformers, MOTU, etc.) are even smaller than the World's Smallest ones sold individually.

These micro figures are also meant to be removable from their packaging by simply sliding the backing card up and away from the plastic blister, so you don't have to cut anything or damage the packaging in any way.

I'm eager to see these for myself!

    - Optimus Prime
    - Megatron
    - Bumblebee

EDIT: Forgot to also mention Zoteki Transformers figurines. $8 each.

You're right. These Micro Transformers figurines are even smaller BUT they lose/lack detail of the individually packed variant.

It's been hanging around in Kmarts recently, at the very least. A few weeks ago my local place was packed with Shadow Pantsus, Trackses and Waspinati.

I finally went out to my local Big W and picked up two of the Micro Toy Box 10-packs. The 10-packs are priced at $19ea.
One 10-pack came with Bumblebee visible inside, the other came with Starscream visible.

    20211226_195042.jpg

The 5-packs, packaged in a tiny Rubbermaid-style storage tote, are only $9ea. I didn't buy any because I wanted to be guaranteed both Transformers toys and none of the ones in stock had Transformers visible in them..

For comparison, the World's Smallest Action Micro Figures Starscream and Bumblebee are 3.3cm tall (when removed from their packaging.) They are articulated at the shoulder and at the neck.
Micro Toy Box Starscream and Bumblebee are a mere 2.5cm tall. They feature no articulation.

In terms of paint, I agree with you @galvatran, Bumblebee suffers a bit from the downscaling, losing a number of smaller details.

    20211226_193656.jpg

Starscream, to my surprise, fares considerably better, with all but the smallest black details on his feet being present and correct.

(Please excuse my open 3.3cm Starscream having a painted head, I painted that myself.)

It's very interesting to see how quickly the "world's smallest" title was superseded. :D

All in all I think I prefer the World's Smallest Action Micro Figures, and I hope to see a couple more in the future, but Micro Toy Box certainly are smaller. And that's something, I guess.

I can answer my own question now. I have just seen a shelf full of Cyberverse Rack'N'Ruin, Hot Rod, and Bumblebee at Big W in Mildura. All old models, apparently being re-released as a wave.

Also, Kmart Mildura has received at least one new case of the old Netflix wave that contained Bumblebee.

Also also, I found a Waspinator at Kmart amongst a million Wreck Gars and Sweeps.

Man I wouldn’t hold out hope on Australia getting anymore bw reissues as the current ones at big w at least in my area have been selling horribly. Not even the recent sale seemed to help.

Yep, someone in control of stock and distribution is nuts.

Yesterday at Big W Mildura (remember, we're hundreds of kms from anywhere) there were a dozen of the things for $85 each. A dozen toys from the 90s. I doubt they've shifted even one in the 2 months they've been available.

It is, in its own way, as bad as Bumblebee and Spike at Kmart; still something like 30 of the blasted things on the pegs, with no change since August. Sorry, there was one change - in late October they put more of them out on the pegs. With no or minimal sales to that point.

Is it seriously just import costs that are jacking up the prices that much, because if so thats ridiculous.

No idea what happened with Amazon, but Asian retailers had them all for order (briefly) a couple of months back (no help to you, I know, but this is for context). They were sent a few weeks ago. From what I gather, Terrorsaur was harder to obtain than the other three for some reason. And unfortunately I'm inclined to think that, barring some brief window of opportunity with Amazon US that you'll probably only hear about too late, you've missed them.

Not ideal but you can now order the Amazon us ones for $51 + shipping. It's not so bad if you have prime.
