I'm really tempted to get this set, but with henry being so damn hard to find, I don't know if I really want to go this route. I already have the 4 FT stunticons, and now I get to go through the mental anguish all over again with dx9. Like WTF!

Henry is supposed to be reissued. Capone was reissued but it took almost a year. So I think it'll come out before Bandit. So I'll tell you - if you're only concerned with combined mode, or robot mode, it's great. Solid as a rock, definitely has a presence, fun to transform (especially Breakdown), and you forget the trailer makes up most of the body (since you have Roadking, could always use that if you want to display in vehicle mode). The only issue is Henry isn't always a stable connection, but once posed, they're not going anywhere. I'm really curious how the FT one will come out. Roadking is HEAVY, and I wonder how stable it will be.
Funnily enough this topic has me really tempted to pick the (relatively easily available) G2 Henry Even if Kukinski & Capone never get a G2 deco
Yeah I was going to go dx9 for combined mode(since he appears the most stable against xtb), and FT for bot mode. Where did you hear henry is getting reissued though?
Only thing with the G2 Henry is unless you have him leaned back a little bit in robot mode, that hinge joint will propel his entire upper body forward. DX9 really should have just put his upper body on a mushroom peg swivel, because I hate that hinge. Ruins an otherwise perfect figure.
DX9 will be for combined mode until Zeta returns and produces a Meanasor. I have the X-Transbot set, but refuse to buy the trailer. Fanstoys was always supposed to be for bot mode.
Are there any DIY videos out there for dismantling the Attila trailer and applying oil/lube grease to stop breakages? I've got my Capone arriving in a few days and don't want the angst of having anything break on me. Also hoping it doesn't arrive broken too!
I had a preorder through a shop I buy from. Had preorders for both Henry and Capone. Capone was supposed to be released back in April 2021, and it didn't happen until recently. I believe Henry will fall under the same pattern (his release was supposed to be July 2021).
Wing mirrors, dude. He means wing mirrors, aka sideview mirrors. You know, the ones that sit outside the car, usually on the corner of the door.
You don't need to dismantle it to apply the lube. There's a little slot on each hip joint that you just have to drop a little bit of silicone shock oil into. You can also do the same with the ankles to make them a bit easier to manage, though it's not as important.
