Sounds like he'll be around the same size as the KC bot, then. I can't wait to see him.

    These are rer
These are rereleases of the Toynami figures; no elbow joints and a bend at the knee. They look pretty good as static pieces.

I’ve never owned any of those and haven’t heard too many praises for their action figure attributes. They do look good in pics, though!

I’ve got Hikaru from wave one, he looks great, he’s made well and has swappable parts for hair and helmet looks. The articulation is limited but enough to get him in a few different poses. The biggest problem is that one leg is a few mm longer than the other, which is just weird. Might just be mine? Either way, I like it enough where I regret not ordering the others so I’m glad to get a second chance. They should look perfect standing around a Macross display. The KC ones are great too, but I like the smaller size of these.

Lol. I didn’t even click the link…assumed it was for their little veritech figures. Their human figures, on the other hand, do look half decent for what they are and at that price point. Sorry for the confusion on my part!

I only drop in now and then to check up on stuff. Is there any word whatsoever on a hi-metal tomahawk?

Yup, the guy was talking about how they lowered their backpack (I kinda like that), as well as how the parts fit together and stay together when you transform them between modes.

The flop test he did was reassuring but I wonder just how long the hip joints will stay tight. Noticed the UN Spacy roundels are still small, KitzConcept said before that it’s due to their licensor wanting them that way but the Japanese releases signed off by Big West/Kawamori have bigger UN Spacy roundels.

I also prefer the darker blue the Japanese licensees have used for Max’s TV VF-1A. I’m surprised the VF-1As showed up in the video when the VF-1S is up for release next after the VF-1J.

I didn't realize the ThreeZero would be fully transformable, that's awesome! More options, the better, and I love the KC VF-1J.

was there a minmei figure in this lineup? I only recall seeing these four.

KC has done two different minmei figs.

edit- nm, found it. Weird, I don’t remember that figure at all.

Oh, I didn't mean this wave, but in general. I think Minmei only had some exclusive release from Toynami, or she was only Wave 1, I think?

It seems weird ... she is a main character and had numerous looks, they could theoretically put a different Minmei figure in every wave, but are choosing not to for some reason?
