They don't seem anywhere near loose enough to really be a problem.

 

Seems like average looseness on that movement. I have ratcheted legs that fall under their own weight like they do there. It’s usually not an issue for any pose that I’ve done. And I like to stretch the limits of my figures joints so….

 

I’m really torn on which Raiden to go with. For me, this one has shit train modes, good robot modes and awesome combined mode, whereas TT has pretty much the exact opposite of that… IMO.

 

That's about the size of it. What are you looking for the most? A more accurate and awesome combined mode or awesome train modes? Individual robot modes are a wash to me but I prefer these to TT's.

For me I only care about the combined mode and this wins for me. I suppose you could break the bank and buy both!

 

To me it is... That and the middle thigh joint not locking anywhere killed my interest in this set for now.

 

Is that why my fingers make snapping noises? Because mine are ratcheted?  

 

I have Zetas releases and X-Transbots Menasor. Moons trainbots matches their scale. TT is a smaller combiner so that made my mind up right there.

 

My Dad has a large HO scale train collection so accurate train modes mean a lot, but the combiner mode is also a huge deal too. It’s just over half the price as well.

I do have the thought in my head that the train modes of TT would work well alongside my legends with Moon Studio as combined mode among the MPs, so the mental gymnastics are open to the possibility, but I would rather not break the bank   assuming all TT versions are priced the same, both sets would be $2,635AUD  

 

My Ice Land is out for delivery as we speak. So I'll be expecting him today, as planned. Now, there's just one thing. "To open or not to open, that is the question." Lol

Why would you go through all this excitement and not open it?

 

Yeah, several people have wondered the same thing about the thin plastic that makes up the heel of the combiner foot. I hope the combined mode doesn't do a dominoe effect as a result.

 

I know this idea would probably upset a number of people, but given that it's trains, it seems like it'd be really easy to come up with a myriad of upgrade pieces to fix any stability issues and have those pieces fit in just fine with a lineup of trains. We could argue about whether or not such pieces would be acceptable, but either way, it seems like a real easy idea to accommodate should the need arise.

I just got back from the grocery store and found a package on my porch. I knew instantly what it was too lol. So far, these are the pics I took after putting everything away and got to opening this.. I will post more tonight if I'm not too busy. If you ask me, this version of Raiden looks very promising..

 

It *does* look like he will be standing on the folded wheels as well, so it may not be that much of an issue.

 

I have no room for these guys, but they look fantastic
