Can anyone direct me to a video or photo of Thunderbolt side-by-side with Thrilling 30 and/or Titans Return Blitzwing? Not a single review on YouTube has any such comparison.

Probably cause it's not worth comparing a legends figure to a voyager one.

Here's a possible useful tip instead of a negative jab as a reply: you might not find a video review but you might find someone who has a bunch of blitzwings showing them off in the comparison thread

    Thank you very much.

Like, seriously? I'm asking specifically about representations of a character who has a tank barrel protruding from behind the head. That's why a side-by-side comparison is useful beyond a simple height statistic.

I'm thinking of getting this guy to complement my Classics Henkei Astrotrain and Universe 2.0 Octane.

Do you guys think MS Thunderbolt would look too small in robot mode compared to those 2 deluxe figures?

Way too small, he’s about small deluxe height if you really squint at him.

I do not have those 2 figures, but ms thunderbolt is about half a head shorter than siege hound and sideswipe. Maybe this could help?

Thanks for reply. Based on what I've seen on the internet, I've noted the following...
    • MS Thunderbolt is the slightly taller than G1 Blitzwing and G1 Astrotrain; about half a head.
    • Classics/Henkei Astrotrain is a good head taller than G1 Astrotrain and G1 Blitzwing.
    • Basically, Chug Astrotrian will be taller by approximately half a head which I'm okay with.
I'll get Thunderbolt off of BBTS and post comparison pics on this thread when he arrives.

On the other side, I use Henkei Astrotrain with my legend+ collection with MFT Octane and Blitzwing, because:
    1. I like the classic Astrotrain mode, and I think it's ok for Astrotrain to be slightly taller than Blitzwing and Octane.
    2. classic Octane mode is pretty bad in my opinion, so I will replace it with MFT's excellent modle.

Glad to hear it worked out for you, looking forward to the pics. Definitely one of my favourite purchases of 2021. I don’t collect legends really but this was a treat since I’m a Blitzwing fan and I completely get the craze for these legends scale figures. They’re incredible.

I still want a KO upscale to Generations scale some day though.

How do these triple changers compare to Magic Square scale wise?

The pic is terrible (sorry) but there they are with MS Soundwave, Shockwave and Thundercraker. For me they scale perfectly. I tend to image them as "brute" and also i don't go much by scale charts.

Pretty neat figures at a reasonable price.

they're awesome and fit in good scale wise. Astrotrain and Blitzwing are both top notch, octane is the lesser of the 3 but good to complete the trio or for reenactments of the Ghost of Starscream episode. PXL_20220416_233534579.jpg

I got this guy and Iron Sky in today. I'm honestly a little disappointed in Iron Sky (it's a little too simple), but I'm really happy with Thunderbolt. Looks great in all 3 modes. Glad they didn't integrate the nose cone as part of the tank mode. I've never liked that aspect of him in the cartoon design.

Just got one... I debated for a while, and in part it's due to how bad the latest Hasbro one ended up. For full scale for mainline, my TR one is absolutely fine, but every time I saw this one, I'd be amazed to how he looked like an updated version of the G1 original, including the 3 modes AND the transformation. With the Black Friday sales, I decided to go for it.

It arrived today and I am not disappointed.
