There are too many games coming out this month. Hot shots Golf just came out, Crisis Core comes out tomorrow, and I just realized that Dark Sector does as well. Don't know too much about it, but it looks very interesting. Anyone else interested in this game>?

The videos look kinda clunky. I really hate when Third Person shooters involving Swords, or blades of any kind, still handle like TPSs. I mean I know it's difficult to have multiple control schemes, but I am still partial to Zelda OOT's fighting style when using a blade. Watching this guy strafe and swing his glave around looks very last-gen and not very fun. It would be nice if it included a lock on when you switched to blade, and then he could control like Link, or any other adopter of that third person sword-fighting control scheme.

I was pretty excited for this game when I first heard about it in 2005.
This was one of the first, if not the first next gen game I heard about.

Now that it is finally being released, I find myself pretty uninterested in it though. It doesn't look bad; there is just nothing about it that particularly grabs me.

lookin' at a 71 on metacritic...sounds like a pass. At least wait three weeks before they drop the price ten or twenty bucks.

Picked up Crisis Core and I want to get Hot Shots Golf this weekend, so I think I'll pass on it for now. Besides, Smasher threatened to kill me if I purchased this game, so I think I'll pass (ie. hearing him raving about Lost Odyssey has convinced me to make that my next long-term commitment game)

Yeah, emphasis on long-term. That game is a time killer.

Dark Sector looks good, but I'm not too interested in picking it up.
Can't exactly put my finger on why not though.

I want to buy that game, but I need to pause on my rate of game consumption. I'm buying one too many games in a short period of time.

Damn, man, you haven't gotten into Lost Odyssey yet? I'm on Disc 4 working on some sidequests, but I haven't played in a bit (heavily distracted by Army of Two Co-op, Brawl, and COD4). The action definitely picks up, though some of the dungeon areas are tedious.

Also, back on topic, I think I'll pick up Dark Sector once I knock out Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Odyssey. Maybe it'll be cheaper then too.
