    it's the toon look...ever since they went more cartoon accurate MPs have just looked ugly to me

    Can we get a positive ID on if those spoiler sliders are still gray or not? It's tough to tell in these photos.

    I think it's the fact that it's only toon looking in alt mode and from one angle, kind of... more or less, head on from the front in bot mode that really ruins it.

    The head sculpt is good and then the rest is just sort of there.

    You can say that again! Just as bad as it's looked from the very first time it was leaked. I'm sure the apologists will come in and say it only looks bad because it's been mistransformed!

    Well, in defense of poor ole' CJ here ....those photos are taken at horrible angles and whatnot. Certainly not trying to portray him in any other light, other than, "I exist, here I am."

    Looks ok. Suffers from the same things MP-45 did, but not as bad. I really don’t care for the toon altmode even though the toys and toon were choro-q/chibi style. It is a good homage, and they did a good job pulling off the toon alt and robot modes, but I wouldn’t want the toon version of the other MP vehicles. I think MP-21 was fine for me. I wish they would retool that into a Porsche for the more realistic vehicle mode.
