DS (or BMB) won’t lower their price. They are the ones making this cheap KO lol. The box being identical proves as much. If anything they’ll raise the price of their DS versions.

I just thought it was EG copying yet another Starscream company's design haha. I thought the consensus was TE was making DS Crimson Wings, because of the type/quality and finish of the plastics?

BMB made TE as their 3rd party branch, now they’ve moved on to DS. They make up new company names every couple months. They more than likely saw the 1:1 KO and wanted to make their own since KO’s are their primary money maker.

Trying to decide if I even WANT to stop into this mold at all. I already have all three MT seekers, which will now pull duty as jet mode full time. I have DS-01 Crimson Wing for bot mode with DS-01R en route right now. When they release the last DS-01 variant I'll have six seekers. But man, at $85, it's hard to pass up.
Do I really NEED another Starwarp, Skycracker, or Thunderscream? I'm so confused!!!

I never even considered TE was involved in this. But you're right about the box being VERY similar in design to CW. Hmmm...

Yeah some of the TE boxes even have a barcode scan on the side of the box with BMB written in the center. This company gets around :lol

You're not a true collector until you can also display them in gerwalk mode.

Let them blitz some of the other Seeker colors beyond the main 3 while they are at it. I'm getting anxious for one of the companies to make Sunstorm and the rest sometime soon.

Pshhhh you're not a true collector until you have enough copies to display each frame of their transformation.

It's good these options, I never got into the toon accurate frequency people got into but do enjoy seeing the releases and what people dive into. I hope Robot Heroes finishes their seeker line though...that is perhaps too wishful on my part :rip

IF I invest in this mold, I'll def go with the Eagle version. Price point for one, but the other major reasons are the screws instead of pins for adjustability, and fewer exposed pins. For example on his butt plate, there's exposed pins on the official and the no brand KO. But the Eagle version molded over them for a more finished look.

I wonder if there's going to be a point where flat head pins are recognized as more trouble than they're worth?

Yeah, the English subtitles are pretty darn accurate. Sounds like the regular KO has better tolerance. This is strange to me since I recall people saying the regular KO also had the same foot and ankle issue as the real deal. So I'm not sure how that's actually better. I know someone told me it's due to the heavy diecast used on the upper part of the figure.

I have the regular KO and the ankles are perfectly fine but if they used the same type of pins as Takara I can see people having loose ankles, though. Those flat head fastener pins are causing too many issues.

Weird that they would clean up the back, but add holes to the front pelvis.
