Son of a bitch, now they release a “clean” Galvatron just to make us buy a second??? They could have at least made the purple a little darker—Hasbro used to show at least that much effort... 

 

Closed boxes for Leaders probably means there will be a LOT of incidents where someone buys this Galvatron & swaps it out for the Kingdom version with the paint effects.

Hope you're not surprised once they re-release it in SS86 with a more cartoon-accurate purple.

 

Definitely keeping an eye out for Kup and Blaster. And possibly even 'clean' Galvatron.

Also loving the reworked TF logo on the Legacy boxes.

 

Don't count on it yet. The stock image of Buzzworthy Bumblebee Cliffjumper shows him with a clear plastic chest/roof, but we already now it's made of solid plastic.

Kind of mean to have Thrust and Ramjet on Starscream's box when so many folks had trouble acquiring them.

If anyone deserved to be re-released in the catch-all Bumblebee line, it's the Coneheads.

 

Still think its a great idea having no window on the leader boxes. Easy win for loot box fans.

In all seriousness its no harm to anyone pre-ordering online from legitimate retailers, but the eBay-based after-market is gonna be a slaughterhouse.

The thought of possibly having to buy a 4th Galvatron if it does indeed come without the splotches is starting to irk me a little....

 

Wow that box art is nice, I'm really liking Legacy's look.

Curious about a clean Galvatron. I'm fine with Kingdom's battle damage but if I see Legacy Galvatron on sale I'll happily pick him up as a replacement.

 

I’m interested as to how Hasbro determines which figures get re-released and which ones don’t in the Buzzworthy line. Cliffjumper I can sort of understand since that figure hasn’t been seen on shelves since Earthrise. Kup, however, is confusing because it just got a package refresh. I visited both of my local Targets yesterday and, altogether, saw about a dozen Kup figures. I feel like other hard to find figures, like Studio Series ‘07 Ironhide, should get re-released.

Unsurprisingly, Bulkhead still looks so bland and generic. Everything else looks great. I can’t wait to get Laser Prime.

They reissued the Thundercracker and Skywarp set as well as a number of other exclusives.

Why is Hasbro so against reissuing the two coneheads?

 

What's the source on this and why should I believe it when the actual Cliffjumper doesn't look like that?

 

It's from In Demand Toys, a very popular UK shop. And things change in production constantly so Hasbro probably fiddled with the clear plastic idea again before settling on opaque plastic.
