    1. Beetles and those hideous vans.
    2. They look godawful.
    3. Camaros>Beetles every fucking time.
    4. RID15 Bumblebee basically.

So it's less you want specifically Camaro Goldbug, and more you want a sports car one? I guess that's fair, though you might get that if the Worlds Collide Goldbug is a CJ Repaint.

As long as it's a black and yellow sports car, I'm good.

Doesn't the Shattered Glass Goldbug kind of fit that description?

You guys sound like you’re waffling now! Make up your mind!

Back to the Goldbug discussion- I personally dig the VW bug design because it’s a unique silhouette when compared to the other Autobot carbots (in both robot and alt modes).

You get the roof-top with four windows on the chest and shallow front-end plus wheel well “shoes” on the feet. I really dig how this was dusted off and brought back in Earthrise because I can’t think of any other carbot using this design in the last 5-10 years.

o_O  huh? I never made any claims as to the molds quality when I brought it up, so tell me how I'm waffling and need to make up my mind.

I know I've said it before, but I still think that instead of an offroad Camaro, RotB Bee should have been a Baja Bug:

I really really want a figure with this alt mode

Jumping into the Goldbug discussion, I was really hoping that he would get his own Throttlebot mold, which could then be repurposed into the other Throttlebots; but I understand why they would use the CJ/BB mold, if that is what they are doing.

My preference is for the VW mold; also, as an added bonus, if you put the trunk/shield on his back upside down from what the instructions say, it gives him a hood like the throttlebots design!

Since Nightprowler just got leaked and the pictures of him don’t show his face… are we getting the normal head for him, or the mutant head? I’d be more inclined to the latter, but it ain’t a dealbreaker.

Speak for yourself. Goldbug needs a mold with two wheels on each foot. The Netflix mold would be bad for him.

At this point, it's only a matter of time before the other exclusive figures like Override and Leadfoot get shown off. Though, I hope Armada Sideways appearance in the IDW comics means more than just a cameo

Better Netflix Bee than ER CJ.

I disagree. Both would be inaccurate, and I don't think either should be settled for as a non-SG Goldbug.

I agree that a unique mold with double foot-wheels would be the best, but If it has to be a repaint it's better to at least be the one with the correct alt-mode.

If they retooled the Netflix Bee mold to look more like Goldbug, I'd be fine with that. And it doesn't need the two wheels on each foot either. I appreciate them doing it to the Battlechargers, but it isn't necessary. I want the Throttlebots to be done as best as possible.

I think this is kind of a narrow view for Grandus. For one thing, he's really gaining popularity in the US as more and more people seem to learn about him. I'm not saying he's a hot item right now or anything of the sort but I have taken notice of more and more people asking about him, more and more customs coming out, etc. So there is definitely a growing segment of the market for that character. Second: Grandus ONLY works if he is a Titan. And Sky Garry would likely be a Commander or a "tall" Leader. But no other scale could even possibly work for Grandus. While I definitely see other JG1 figures coming out first, I think if they really dive into it then Grandus would make perfect sense as that year's Titan.

We can see enough of the toy's head to confirm that it's the normal robot head. The tail doesn't cover up all of it.
