I'll start with one: Every jet/flying ship/flying animal figure over $100 should come with a stand. I don't care if I have to pay an extra $20, these things need some way to be displayed.

I actually don't use stands much and would consider them a waste.

I want character cards. And at least 1 ranged and 1 melee weapon.

Ankle tilts so it can stand flat footed on a surface when it's legs are spread out to any degree.

 

No light piping on masterpiece figures unless there’s swappable painted eyes.

 

I'll add on to this: if the eyes have a light up feature, please either include swappable painted eyes or do them like Studio Cell Unicron where they're both painted and light up. Assaultus is a good example of where this would've been nice as his eyes look quite dead.

 

any transformer figures over $100 should have articulated fingers with good ports for weapons/swords ect

 

That will depend on size. A figure with small hands and thin fingers will have problems if you try and articulate them. For these, swappable hands make most sense.

I would prefer that the companies make universal stands for their lines. That way you can choose to purchase them separately.
I don't need 6 seeker stands, 2 Horrorcon stands, a stand for Mindwipe, one for Swoop, one for Powerglide, etc. These end up taking up way too much storage space, and at $10-20 a piece, they become a waste for a big collection.
Also, for display, stands really take up a lot of shelf space.

 

If in the G1 continuity, a reasonable amount of flat surface area such that we can apply a faction symbol.

I am looking at you, Kingzilla (who can only stand in an A, because his hip ratchets are so widely spaced).

This is also an acceptable solution. In my large collection, the only figures to even come with a flight stand are MP-6 Skywarp, KFC Simba, and Hasbro MP Thundercracker. Flight stands are hard to come by and it makes displaying flying figures hard. I've bought some flight stands off of eBay, but since they aren't engineered to work with a specific figure, they aren't ideal and don't look as nice as I'd like.

 

Packaging that guarantees the figure arrives at your door in good shape.

Otherwise, ankle tilts and wrist swivels. Nothing kills a figure for me more than terrible ankles. The wrists go such a long way toward making figures look dynamic.
