It was an ebay listing! I’ve gotten a LOT of good deals off ebay lately but it’s taken some effort. For example, I’ve bid on probably 7-8 POTP Predakings and one got away for $130 and the rest all went around $225-$250. I just kept bidding, but never went above my max price of $180. Eventually I got him for $170 but it took losing 6-7 other auctions to get there. Some sellers are unscrupulous and bid up their own product at the end, but some of them really do let the bids decide the price and when that happens you can get a good deal. That’s how I landed these guys. Just determine the max price you want to pay, look for some auctions under that price, put your bid out there, and prepare to lose a ton of auctions. Eventually those efforts will pay off handsomely for you!

I believe the Ratchet and Prowl are based on the ss Bumblebee, and not SS86.

No, the BB Ratchet is a deluxe. The voyager is SS86 according to leakers.

 

I just a Ironhide/Prowl pack for 440 dollars on ebay! Not even my G1 nostalgia will take me that far.

 

Hopefully we'll get a SS86 release of them.

At this point, I would totally recommend people just wait. I suspect…or at least hope…this new voyager Ironhide will be a step or two above the ER bot. I’d hate to spend hundreds on the ER only for it to be outclassed by something that turns out to be much easier and cheaper to obtain.

As an absolute completionist… Yes, I did, for a little more than that price, used (but I got Thrust too). Thing is, having them in hand I’ve not regretted it once. Stung a little at first but that sting went away when I got them out and started fiddling. My suggestion is if you really want them and can swing it, do it.

 

$200?! People who give in to ridiculous scalper prices are the same people complaining bout the retail price increase  

 

No matter how much I’d love to have some coneheads (I have the three main seekers and they’d go together wonderfully) I could never justify that price. Unless I ever become a millionaire or something lol.

 

I wonder why no one at hasbro hasnt reissued these sets? The complaints have to be around the same as the first gi joe cobra island figures and with gi joe the team listened to fans and have reissued almost of all the cobra island stuff. I wonder whats stopping the tf brand.

 

The Coneheads and the Ironhide/Prowl preorder cancellations is one thing I have a difficult time forgiving Amazon for.

I still believe that you should not market pre-orders for an item you will not be able to deliver on.
