Legacy has arrived! I was surprised to see Lift Ticket on my front step, but it was a happy surprise indeed. Our newest member of the Diaclone lineup uses the Hoist/Trailbreaker mold, one of my favorites from Earthrise, and he does not disappoint! His rear section has slight tabbing issues but other than that, he feels pretty good in hand. You know what to expect if you have the previous iterations of this mold, but I'm liking these colors. I think we have a winner here, but I'll admit bias on my part. Trailbreaker is my favorite character, hands down, and Hoist was my first G1 mold.
But Lift Ticket? Oh yeah, he stands on his own, and I would definitely recommend.

 

Glad the folks who want him are getting him. I love G1 Trailbreaker and Hoist - I had both when originally released, the only mold I actually had 2 of - but this deco does nothing for me and I think it is one of the weakest ER molds.

 

Honestly, "Red Hoist" is enough to satisfy me.

We also need blue Trailbreaker and yellow Trailbreaker.

Blue Trailbreaker can be Shattered Glass Trailbreaker, and yellow Trailbreaker can be the G1 version of G2 Electro. No differences from Diaclone yellow Trailbreaker color scheme other than a G1 Autobot insignia; including a G1 Trailbreaker toy head, not his G2 head - just to highlight how drastically he changes going from G1 to G2.

 

How did you get this so early?

Am I wrong in thinking he wasn't due until spring sometime?  

 

Yeah, I was surprised, too. I ordered from Entertainment Earth and received no real advance notice that he was getting sent out or anything.

Just checked my pre-order at TCP, and it says February, so hopefully that becomes an early release as well.  

 

Wow, he looks good, glad I pre-ordered. I didn't get Hoist or Trailbreaker, but these Diaclone repaints are like candy, I need them all!

I recall ER Hoist having an issue with his color-matching (green hood matching the rest of his green paint); how does LT look in that regard? It looks pretty good in the pics, but just wondering if you can really tell it in hand.

(That "Wrecker" tampo really elevates this guy!)

Haven't really noticed much in that regard, it's all pretty uniform. No battle damage paint either

 

Bring on more diaclone and random repaints into new chapters!

 

I had a few more comparison shots, and I can take requests if anyone wants to see more. Sadly, I don't have his Botcon counterparts, but I've got a selection of other Diaclone repaints and I'm pretty happy with how he looks with them.

Its too bad that hasbro dropped the ball on this figs vehicle mode. Shoulda covered the arm kibble. The bot mode is kick ass but vehicle mode is turrble.

 

Cool, I always liked Trailbreaker and Hoist and enjoy this mold. I have him preorderd. Gonna get the blue guy with the lousy name as well and hopefully they do the yellow version down the line.

 

Everyone is so happy to welcome him home. It's heartwarming to see.

 

Glad people are happy, but I am so glad I skipped.

Hoist's color mismatch is fine unless you have the figure under a bright light, I didn't even notice until someone mentioned it.

 

Could you do a shot of the inside of the box? We know they've spruced up the outside, but I don't think we've seen the inside yet.
