I’ve got T30 Metroplex, CW Devastator, Legends Fort Max, Legends Grand Max, TR Trypticon, POTP Predaking, Siege Omega Supreme, ER Scorponok, and Kingdom Ark. Black Zarak is already paid for. I think Grand Cog is the only minion missing at this point..

Yes. The leg extenders are a waste and should've been separate to keep costs down.

I do wish the stinger and stinger "housing" were more G1 (silver stinger and gold housing). It helps break up the uniformity of the black plastic on the scorpion tail on the Selects BZ

I'm in the same boat as you are, the platform shoes are the weakest link. I'm actually debating if I want the upgrades or just skip it altogether. Iron Factory's version of BZ (Dark Matter) is a good representation of the G1 version in smaller format.

Here's IF: Dark Matter for those who are not us to speed.

I suppose one could always disassemble those pieces and spray paint them, couldn't they?

Side Note: Are the gold bits for the G1 iteration aftermarket replacements? If not, that's seriously impressive if they're the OEM parts from back in the day. Keep hearing about how BZ is Schrodinger's GPS toy or what not.

I'm not seeing platform shoes? Unless you mean the flat panel underneath the kitted version on the right. It looks like it's the same as the stock feet on the left, just an odd angle to the comparison shots when shopping them together.

At least if there is such a thing it's not as garish as the ones they made for Fort. Max and his repaints...

Is there any sort of a code for him on the box or in the instructions? LEG-GS01? I will be mightily annoyed if there isn't.

It's impressive, and it's not. They are the original parts, yup. They have survived this whole time and have not broken. But I had three black zaraks at one time (2 boxed, 1 loose). Between the 3 I had one fully complete black zarak, and between the three only 1 had no suffering from gps. And this one is the one in the pics.

I was really worried about it though...I actually got a KO gold zarak/headmaster from someone here on the boards maybe 10+ years ago. That's the one I use with black zarak, the og zarak headmaster is untouched in the box... I've seen way too many videos/photos of the arms disintegrating if you try and move them. The ko doesn't have that problem.

Come to think of it...I've had the new selects black zarak for exactly 7 days, and G1 black zarak for 12 years, and I can honestly say I've transformed the selects more in the past 7 days than I've done so with the G1, and that includes very gingerly transforming the G1 for my earlier comparison pics.

Awesome Christmas. I remember getting transformers for Christmas as a kid.

    Merry Christmas!

With so many different figures around, it's generally easier to have unique codes to identify them. For example, when I say MP-03, MP-11, or MP-52, there's no ambiguity which Starscream I'm referring to.

Japanese have had product codes from the very beginning (C- and D-) and I was hoping the WFC trilogy had finally brought this practice to the US as well. But Hasbro remains as random and inconsistent as ever.
