Yeah I’m definitely going to be pacing myself, not on a race but more like a marathon. Tbh for B-127/ BB Cliffjumper and BB Prime I actually am not a huge fan of their designs so they’ll be skips. The much older (comparatively) ones I’m not too upset about paying a bit more for, you know late tax and all that, but I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for good prices.

Who said anything about eating?

Oh yeah, he’s going to be a big one. I think I might at some point go all out on the box set as I feel like it’ll be easier to get my hands on. Going to try to pick up an individual Scrapmetal, though cause he’s such an adorable little cutie. Genuinely one of my favourite Baybots based on looks alone.

 

When I woke up today I found I had absolutely no motivation to go out so thought I wouldn't be picking T'Ark up but realising that if I didn't get new nose cushion things for my glasses ASAP I could end up with permanent divots either side of my nose and that if I didn't get The Ark soon Angie's boss would marmalize me, so I managed to drag my carcass into town in the end.

Spotted the Sweep there just as I was paying for The Ark, which was a stroke of good fortune - I find I actually prefer his paint job to Scourge's in hand too! - and I popped into a couple of shops in the Arndale on my way to FP to pick up some bits for Mrs O for christmas and couldn't resist the Chameleon tape measure when I saw it in Kenji  




I must admit, I was a bit miffed when I opened The Ark's box, though, as it appeared there was a Tigatron in there by accident -



Seriously though folks, as far as The Ark goes I was surprised at how hefty it was when I took it out of the packaging as there's basically nothing to it. I was a bit miffed that there weren't enough effects parts for all of the engines, though - only two, but with three parts each, isn't anything like enough to make up for the lack of a gun or an articulated neck...

He's not very well designed either - those folding panels that go into the top of the chest from the front of the ship should be pinned, not on friction joints, as they just pop off if you even cough near them, his chest barely clipping in to the yellow bits on the sides of the grey panel that has no real reason to be grey and not yellow and the massive fucking gap underneath it when it's in place are also major bones of contention with me.

He looks okay in robot mode but that's about it really. Everything else is compromised into uselessness IMHO. I feel like this one could hurt Hasbro, financially, by being remaindered VERY early on and, frankly, they fucking deserve it.
