The cab kind of sticks out a bit when you put the cab flush against his (Puffer's) head. It does look and feel more natural to push it in at an angle, honestly.

Capable of it, but I don't think that's the "real" way it's supposed to go. Sure, it's more model-accurate, but it also gets in the way of his shoulders. You can't move them even a little without nudging the semi cab backpack out of place. It seems that folding it down at an angle (and out of the way of his arms) is what is intended for this toy.

But if you're okay with putting him on the shelf and leaving him alone with his arms immobile, then I don't see why you couldn't mistransform him into that position if it's preferred.

I can't imagine Hasbro thinking that way... I mean, I can imagine that others hold your opinion. That's just a matter of taste, and I won't criticize that. But Hasbro making a unilateral decision never to depict a toy as being transformed in a way that it was clearly designed to do, which is consistent with previous portrayals of the character (both toy and cartoon), just because of a simple aesthetic quirk? That just seems bizarre.

Maybe. I don't see the problem with the shoulders that you do, but I guess I never saw the point of super-articulation the way others do. I can accept that this might well have been Hasbro's reasoning, at least.

i dunno if i'd put "moving arms forward laterally at the shoulders like a Reaction 5POA toy" in the "super-articulation" category but sure

Just got mine in, love em!!! That being said my Road Ranger is definitely looser than my Huffer. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it uncommon?

My RR is tight. Haven't touched Puffer because I split the box with another user.

Hmm… upon closer inspection I may have just gotten a weird copy. What tipped me off was the leg joints are definitely noticeably looser (not enough to be an issue) but now I notice that the waist and head joint are tighter. The arms are about the same. The back/ cab locking point is virtually non existent (it stays in place but the lightest of pulls can bring it out). Weird. But not too big a deal!

These really are a golden collection of Transformers.

Fingers crossed that Mutant Tigatron and Terrorsaur get released early too. Maybe a January 1st release date to welcome the year 2022? G1 golden disc figures released, BW golden disc figures arriving soon...hopefully.

Amazon finally charged me for mine about 3 minutes ago. That was a long wait considering they said these 2 were supposed to be delivered today. Then Huffer and hopefully Pipes not too much longer.

Pulse charged me for them. They also sent me an email saying that I would be getting charged for Heroquest, the Mythic Tier, which I never ordered.

Already sent them an email on that. Hopefully it's just an email fluke. Also hopefully these guys ship soon.

It's Jackpot if you go by the product numbers, for some reason it's just mislabeled in the email as hero quest

    Really? That's extremely strange.

Great, now I'm paranoid that they'll just cancel Jackpot on me lol. I'm sure it'll all work out correctly though.

The hero quest email was an error. Has nothing to do with Jackpot

Doesn't quite work, but I might keep Puffer as Cybertron Armorhide anyway... Cybertron_Armorhide_toy.jpg
