i am so confused with Bombusbee ... how the hell do you pay off the balance for your pre-order again? - or is it a broken link situation ...

 

Email says 89.99 + shipping. I mean it's cheaper than local, but eh...not sure worth it since I don't think they're that great after messing with frenzy

 

I was never worried about posting the link. It's not some special link for people that preordered, it's just the web address that takes you straight to the buy page of the RP-01B item.

I ordered the tapes along with the reissue of Piper from TCP. I think he's about 90% toon accurate. I plan on modding the cab to be toon accurate, somehow. The total is about $205 shipped.
So $102.50 for Pipes and about $35 each for:
Rumble
Frenzy (trading Laserbeak for him)
Ravage

Not too bad.

 

I was gonna come in and ask about Bombusbee and how to lay for my invoice and seems in not the only one, their SW PO wasn't an issue to pay so wonder what's going on.
They are probably wondering why no one is paying their invoices yet and chalk it up to us silly Americans over spending for Christmas presents and has no money left lol

 

Bombusbee set a pretty low quantity number to begin with so they are full aware of what's going on, most likely receiving a smaller batch to begin with.

 

So they sent out the pay requests but only the first X people who use it get to pay it off? Heh. Probably should've given that to the first X people who pre-ordered instead of doing it this way. Hopefully they get the rest of their allocation relatively soon. I'm also hoping TD gets the rest of theirs soon too since mine doesn't seem to have been in their first batch.

Honestly if this is the result of the deal that FT made with NA retailers to get it first, I wish they wouldn't. Just finish up the whole production run and get them all sent out. Don't leave people stressing wondering if their order is going to be fulfilled - but then I'm still stinging from my Thomas pre-order getting cancelled.

 

Lmao. I've noticed this too. They're the cheapest by $50 or the most expensive by $90! They love soundwave and hate dinobots and spindrift!

I ordered from Bombusbee, received a notice this morning (3am) and also got the sold out notice on the link. I also replied to their notice via the sales dept to find out what they want me to do. They've been great so far with every problem I've had, so I have no reason to doubt they'll do anything but the right thing. I'll post on here what they say unless somebody else gets the same response first and posts it here.

Also, on the email, Bombusbee states that the FULL preorder price is $89.99 but the deposit was $15 so the amount due is only $73.99 with the dollar coupon....plus $19 in shipping.

 

I got an email from Bombusbee to pay my remaining balance for FT Cassettes that I pre-ordered from them. But when I click the link I see this. I don't see any way to pay and it says sold out. Am I missing something?

 

See the last two pages. Someone set the quantity of "balance only" too low. China has been sleeping while we've all been worrying. With the number of people saying they've e-mailed Bombusbee today, I'm betting it'll fix itself around 11:00pm or midnight tonight once Bombusbee gets into work tomorrow (yesterday) morning and sees what happened. Time zones, crazy right?

 

I pre-ordered a lot of figures through bombusbee and I am waiting for the to sort out the mess so I can pay my PO balance for the tapes. If this is going to be the case each time then I just cancel my PO with them.

having to get up for work at 6:23 am recently has finally paid off! Bombusbee emailed out at 5:28 I followed the directions in the email before I brushed my teeth.

final pricing for me was

15 deposit. 93.19 at checkout. So 108.19 total.

 

i watched several cartoons and looked at stills. Laserbeak is fairly faithful to the season 1 animation. In the 1986 movie, he looks more like mp13 version.
