I know, its a very niche of the community , but if they did do this then it would be a lot in one package, and, since its Haslab, it would be at least a good quality, plus a new Metroplex, now one can get enough Metroplex

 

Here’s a thought. Just like they are looking at Star Wars Black and TVC differently, maybe they would do a studio series project? And by that I mean Bay or BB. Not sure what it would be though as I’m not a collector for that line. .

 

My vote, for what it's worth, is also for a PMOP/God Ginrai that's just really well done. Design the individual components to add up to a really well done final super mode, instead of retooling an existing figure to fit a poorly designed God Bomber as an after thought.

I know a lot of people think Haslab should be for stuff more o secure than a character that could sell as well as a version of Optimus, but I really well done fully featured God Ginrai might just add up to a price point that isn't retail viable. Hasbro might also want an easy win after the Rancor failure...

I think God Ginrai is a better candidate than someone like Armada Prime with his powerlinx partners because an Armada Jetfire seems far more market viable than a stand alone Apex/God Bomber. Ovreload might be a different story, but I think most people probably see Jetfire as the far more important piece of that particular combo.

Regardless, I think the next Transformers HasLab project is probably going to fall on the safer side of things rather than anything obscure. Not expecting anything like the Battlestars or Dai Atlas or anything, even though I think that Grandus might only be viable as a specialty product. A new Star Convoy and Sky Garry could probably be pulled off at retail though...

 

I'd like to see a new Maximus mold where the buyer can pick one of three colour schemes when they order it.

Or the one lost Armada Prime, because come on.

 

That Omega Prime would be bigger than Victory Saber though. Plus they could scale Prime's core robot to fight Legacy Scourge.

 

I think an Omega Prime from RID 2001 would be right up Haslab's alley. He'd be a big, complex chonker of two smaller 'Bots that would have to manage truck modes, regular robot modes, and with Optimus Prime, a super mode. Hell, design Omega Prime so he can utilize Optimus' trailer in combined mode!

 

If the next Haslab is an Optimus I’d hope it’d be RiD01 + Ultra Magnus. I like PMOP and Armada Prime but I’d much florefer RiD01. Instant back.

Armada Optimus Prime had mainstream exposure in both the West and Japan. Ginrai? Unless you were in Japan, or an uber Transformers fan (if you know who Ginrai is, you are one), Ginrai is a head scratcher. I just can't see PMOP/God Ginrai done well unless it was released through HasLab with God Bomber/Apex Armor with him.

 

Tell that to Takara because they don't seem to understand it.

 

Adding another vote for Deathsaurus ASAP please. With tiger breast, eagle breast, sword, flail/gun weapon, living Metal eating cannon. Stretch goal interchangeable head with effed up eye. First goal is somehow Blue Bacchus.

 

I really think that he’d be doable at retail. I’m like 90% sure one of the leakers said that if Victory Saber was successful then Deathsaurus had a shot at retail come 2023. Seeing as he hit 250% of his goal I can see it happening.

Make G1 Arcee prototype into an actual figure.

• Definitely is one of those "it could never happen" things.
• A missing hole in G1 collections, especially movie cast.

 

Maybe a 2 pack of G1 Unicron and G1 Arcee proto's. That would be cool. I'd have no interest in them but still would be cool.
