Transformation looks like a complete nightmare, and has a ton of points that look like they'll break easily.

...and low and behold, there's already a bunch of images online of broken screws and such.

 

This is so disappointing because I really like the size of this. UT will definitely be too big for me, so here's hoping NA will be around MPM Meg's height.

This too, i hope NewAge isn't also huge either. My main issue with UniqueToys is how inconsistent they are regarding their scale, it seems like they scale their figures based on how big the current popular toy like freedom leader or blackapple OP is.

 

That transformation is so not fun. UT, show them how it's done.

 

Decided to cancel me pre-order and put my hopes on UT  .

Sorry for asking (especially if it has already been written somewhere), but what approximate height for UT megs are we talking about in cm? (scale nos. don't tell me much)

 

Awesome. Now we know why it costs so much.

I really enjoy complex transformations, but this one looks too easy to break. Too many thin pieces of plastic being used to swivel large chunks of the figure. If X-transbots is going to continue in the vein of extremely complex designs, they are going to need to beef up the components.

 

Looks hellish and insane. But damn that intro is like taken straight up from the movie (cab forming the chest and the gas tank forming the lower body). As close as capturing the CGI sequence as we can get. Magic. They took the more ambitious and difficult route (unlike UT and Hasbro's voyager obviously) and I always respect that.
But this looks like so much like TW Knight Orion - pain and hours of struggling. On one hand, I survived Orion, I survived Split with no damage (both the figures and my sanity) on the other hand - I don't miss it  
I'm still very torn on this figure, wish we knew more about NA

 

The OS SS Sentinel Prime is really good in both modes with an easy transformation and the price point is a great value too. At this point, I'd be perfectly ok if someone applied the same treatment to SS Megs.

 

This AAT is not same company as XTB.

 

Oh man I'm glad I passed up on this. I actually have Hound preordered but I'm probably gonna cancel if this shit's gonna be the expected from them

 

Another AAT fiasco as expected, this will make UT and NA keep or even increase the prices.

I watched that video by Mangmotion and I was exhausted at the end.

 

AAT seems to be owned by Keith from XTB. Even shared the same photography setup from XTB perceptor

 

He speaks in a very flat and muffled voice so it's hard to completely make out (I'm not a native mandarin speaker). But there's actually close captioned someone put in that is very accurate to what he was saying. not much to add honestly. The complexity doesn't feel like a failure to the reviewer though, so that might mean it's complex but not hellish.

 

Looks like AAT should have stayed in the dirt.

 

Really? No wonder yesterday when I was reading the AAT posts on Baidu, I saw one or two people mentioned "蟹老板" （XTB boss nick name) in AAT thread.

 

And you should probably unfollow the thread a while ago. This is just blatant hating at this point
