I even perfected them some more, they are now made in an more ABS like plastic and the details are even crisper.. you can even see the Mercedes logo in there!

And with the new plastic they are way less brittle to boot! now ill focus a little more on the brakes to get them in the right spot on the robot and they are ready for paint and install!

Hello and welcome! This figure is superior in every single way except for being able to seat the HA figures.

 

Get also the human alliance one as a collector item from the days when Hasbro produced good quality figures.

 

Absolutely no comparison… this is the best one..

 

Tbh I like the human alliances arms way better… so idk. I would probably overall prefer to have this, but at its price I just stuck with HA.

 

This figure is so above and beyond the HA. I liked the HA for the time but sold it off years ago. Plus if you're looking for movie accuracy this one here has it and destroys the HA in that regard. There is a lot of talk about the price of this guy which honestly is just old at this point and tiresome. I felt this guy was worth it and has given us the best movie Soundwave out there, and a really good Ravage and Laserbeak as well!

 

I paid about $120 for this when it was on sale over at ShowZ. I feel that’s a very fair price for what you’re getting; a highly premium MPM-scale carbot with great detailing and articulation, plus two very fun Ravage and Laserbeak figures.

 

Yes, same here. I sold all my HA's since they all have a MP alternative now.

 

Thank you for all your replies! I fell inlove with the figure but the price is a little stiff for me. I guess I'll save for it and maybe buy a used HA and color it with g1 colors

 

You should do what you want! But keep in mind this figure really is worth the price.
If I may do a sugestion, with the hollidays comming ask for cash and get Mista, especially compared to other mpm’s the HA looks dull. I can do a comparison pic for you in an hour or so.. I have both but this might help even more:

Ok, the wheels are not screwed in place cause I am still a bit unsure about the color of the discbrake (i am trying to get the carbon/ceramic look) and I might have to make a brighter orange for the calipers, but the set is done, I added a spacer to the discbrakes and made a new caliper that looks better. I tried making the disc move with the caliper in place but that is a pain in the a..

Here is my Newage Mista ( DOTM Soundwave ) custom with new shoulders, new wheels, new chest and new head ( my favorite transformers design and figure).

 

I'm assuming not, but are those shoulder pieces transformable?

 

I believe that is the Tim-made set.. those shoulders and legs and chest parts are add-on, non transformable
