Well I thought I was going to take a small break after these Optimus figures…

    Nope. I’m pulled back in.

Hey, so these all seem like online slides for this SGC expo.. is there an open showroom this year where we’ll get pictures, or is it all online cause of Covid?

I understand what they were going for with Drift, but I hate how wide those thighs are.

Lockdown looks good enough, though sure seems like a lot of those pointy bits should be silver.

So I'm guessing all the old idw Datsuns are gonna be up on eBay pretty soon...

Interesting how the new Datsuns and grapple/inferno are listed as Iron Samurai series, I can totally see that aesthetic... But at the same time it is subtle enough for them to fit in as more G1/idw styled too. A wonderful balance that lets these fit into any collection.

Generally I’m more a NA/MS collector, but I’m definitely going to need that Iron Factory Animated Prowl.

EDIT: Also, looking at it again, that mold would also make a pretty good Knockout. Whaddya say, Iron Factory?

I know what you mean. Usually the IDW aesthetic doesn't do anything for me, and I'm definitely not into the iron samurai line, but wow, sometimes they make a figure that is absolutely irresistible. IF-EX36 Tyrant (in All Hail configuration) is the only IF figure I own, yet its my favorite regardless of scale. One of these days I'm gonna grab IF-EX44 City Commander and I bet it'll give Tyrant a run for it's money.

Super stoked on the upcoming MS releases. While skyfire is a bit wonky, the size is spot on. I have cygnus but he just doesn't scale properly in my collection.

Not into the samurai if stuff and the upcoming NewAge doesn't get me excited, the legs on mirage give me an iron factory phantom vibe.

Man, Iron Factory used to be my all time favorite. And I haven't bought anything from them in years. It's not that I think everything needs to be slavishly G1. I just hate the Journey to the West ascetic they've been leaning into.

I appreciate you posting all these updates!
    Jetfire is massive.

Inferno looks like a mini MP geez.
So is that Ironhide 2.0 from New Age?

Hnnng Liokaiser! Who called that one?
    Have to have it.
Datsun bros look good as GT-Rs. Didn't that one company make some in deluxe scale recently?
    Artfire is tempting.
    Still in for Grimlock.

That would be absolutely brilliant !!

They may be able to pull off a TFP style Smokescreen or a Bulkhead from their Inferno mold as well

Good call! I’d love to see more Prime and Animated homages at the Legends scale.

In light of receiving a limited edition "broken arm in the box" Planet X Cacus, at least I know Legends scale is there for me.

I know everyone like to do the whole MS VS NA thing but we should all be excited that these companies are putting out awesome products.
