The first one is okay, but I wouldn't waste time on the second one, personally. Way I understand, No Way Home does a good job telling you what you need to know from that movie.
So did anyone else notice that Spoiler the scene when Sandman was cured was just the scene of him from SM3 being ripped apart but in reverse with a new background? That is my only true critcism of the film.
Spoiler: in Avengers 2012 did Stark power the entire city with his Arc reactor or just his tower? could be another reason why Max feels a different energy
Just took the kids today. Some stuff flew over their heads because of the fact they’re too young to have any nostalgia for the non-MCU films, but they all enjoyed it. This film owes a lot to Into The Spiderverse and it did a lot of work to make this concept work for audiences. I won’t spoil it, but this could be a reasonable final film for Holland should Sony walk away again.
I'm thinking back to the jump at the end of the battle a lot Spoiler in all those years after Gwen died, how often do think Andrew's Spider-Man replayed that scene in his head, trying to figure out how he could have saved her? there's a comic issue where Peter shows he learned how to web a falling person without inadvertently breaking their neck, and to use another franchise as an example there's Ben who's replayed his master's death for over thirty years in his mind and learning from it
this movie was so, so good, and i've been a detractor of holland and garfield's spiderverses for a while (i skipped FFH until the day before i saw NWH). just blown away by the absolutely golden performances from all the Spoiler peters and raimi villains that weren't sandman . gut punches at every turn and tom holland's spidey gets put through the fucking ringer, but in a way that's what makes him everybody's neighborly friend, the spiders-man!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I assume that none of the remaining Avengers came in to help exonerate Peter of Beck's murder fake-out from "Far From Home"?
For people that wants the suit at the end, HT basically already has it on PO. Tobey's Spiderman theme song still brings the feels and the best of any comicbook movie so far. Also, to save you guys some time no need to wait for the second end credit since it's the Dr Strange 2 trailer that typy can find online. This was a 7.5/10
Nope, that's what so stupid about the supposedly shared MCU universe when no fucking Avengers comes to help his ass.
None of them were involved in the events of far from home so none of them would know if he's innocent or not
Really? Dude helped save the universe and he's not innocent until proven quilty? The 2 Skulls couldn't help testify Mysterio was a fraud?
WOW! Never mind that he was Stark's pupil and helped to defeat Thanos in "Infinity War" and "Endgame", the remaining Avenger's and especially Nick Fury, the guy who vouched for Quentin Beck in "Far From Home", just left Peter to deal with the fallout by himself? Did nothing at all for Peter as his life and everyone in it was being torn apart? MOTHERFUCKERS!!! It's shit like this that makes me favor the CW's Arrowverse over the MCU!
Who knows if those 2 Skrulls are even still on Earth. Besides, Fury is supposed to be dead isn't he? Wouldn't a Skrull waltzing up to testify to Peter's innocence as the former head of a defunct spy orginazation (that was very publicly shown to be corrupt) that is supposed to be dead kind of blow Fury's cover?
Has no one seen FFH besides me? You telling me all the intelligence agency around the world with spy satellites especially MI6 didn't have cameras on what was going on in London during the attacks where the drones was causing havoc and Spidey was battling them for people to believe he controlled them?
To be fair of Nick Fury, it was Talos disguised as Fury who vouched for him...if I remembered correctly. Also. Why isn't Pepper Potts using all their high price lawyers to help Peter and also use Stark tech to disimenate Mysterio's fake recording of Spidey?
I mean, Mysterio did it all inside a hallway. All a satellite would have seen is a giant monster breaking up into drones and Spiderman going in and out of it.
Question is if Talos is even on Earth by that point, as he could've easily went back to space to reunite with Fury once his mission was done.
Yeah what Mysterio did is to make it appear that he was able to get the Elemental back to its universe, but in that moment Spidey attacked him and launched the drones attack, killing him in the process so that Peter would make himself look like the hero in this situation as per Mysterio, Peter wanted to be the new Iron Man and didnt want anyone like Mysterio take that title. So it would be a little easier for people to buy into Mysterio's lie as that's exactly what happened to those that didnt saw what truly went on, as what the general public saw is the monsters vanishing followed by a drones attack, which fits with what Mysterio said
