Personally, I'm content with the size most figures are at. Being a bit smaller than they used to saves on space which adds up over time. It's really just the Beast Wars ones that give me the majority of the feeling they're too small. But to each their own.

 

I wonder if spike will have a unique headsculpt or will the dome be paited silver like the buzzworthy bumblebee if it is that be great because it can double as a daniel

 

So the best guess is that the Soundwave and Elita 1 are the Walmart-only versions coming to normal retail?

 

Either that, or soundwave is a retool of blaster and elita is a repaint of prime arcee

 

Think they will use those molds for their shattered glass versions we know are coming as well. I cant wait for those 2 super high must haves and more cassettes ..cassettes...and more cassettes please

Tarantulus ,Inferno, and sludge are must buys without even seeing them yet. The others a maybe depending on what they look like. A transmeatal dragon megatron would be a must as well if he looks good

 

That would be odd to redo a Netflix/G1 style Soundwave on a different body so soon.

That's where I'm at, too. The sole reason I still watch these boards is for news/reveals of more '86 Dinobots. I check daily hoping to see if we've finally gotten a glimpse of Sludge yet... though am admittedly also now a little curious to see what these new Insecticons and even Stunticons look like as well.

 

I can now rest peacefully knowing that we\'re getting Blitzwing sooner then expected... I\'m also interested in Spike, I hope they actually give him a face this time(and not just a basic white dome). Other then that, I also have high hopes for Elita, Tarantulus, and that core Shockwave (maybe a glorified battle master????)

 

Keep looking at it, and keep thinking it is gonna be a cheap year for me. Things can go sideways if they decide to add random filler like G2/Shattered Glass/Random repaints to bulk up the offerings with the movie getting delayed.

Also I hope one of the soundwave or cassette packs gives us a Buzzsaw. Even it it's only in a Takara premium deco version.

I believe the word is that he's Leader-class in the same way Siege/Earthrise Astrotrain was - a Voyager-class figure with extra accessories to make up the Leader price point. Afaik, like with most of these, we don't know what exactly he looks like yet.
