    19. I always knew about Transformers and even had a couple toys but the only time I got to watch TV was on Saturday mornings when TMNT was on or during the Fox blocks after school while my mom was cooking. The rest of the time I was expected to be outside or in my room and out of my mom's way. I didn't get to really watch it till a buddy loaned me his dvds in the early oughts.

I remember absolutely loving the toys but never actually watching any of the shows, so I didn't really know anything about the fiction. This was around Cybertron in 2006, so I would have been 5. I remember looking at catalogues and getting ahold of some comic books here and there, not really knowing the context of any of it. Then I got the Classics Optimus Prime vs. Megatron 2-pack, the one that came with a DVD. That was the first real introduction to the general concepts of the series that I got. The next year of course was the 2007 movie, when I was 6, and the year after that was Animated (technically Animated was at the very end of 2007, but it's always associated with 2008). So those could be considered my first full interactions with the fiction.

I guess whenever the show debuted in 1984, so I was 8 at the time. I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall hearing about the toys and seeing them in catalogs before watching the show. I recall going on vacation over the summer and the toy store in the mall had them already. I was looking for Starscream, but they didn't have it. So, I picked up Thundercracker instead. Am I miss-remembering the timeline of events? Didn't the toys come out the spring or summer of '84. I just remember liking Starscream because he was a cool jet, but didn't know anything about the character.

I would've been under 10, when I first watched Transformers; I saw Headmasters a lot, and Megatron's Master Plan was a stand out of the collection of VHS tapes that we had, along with Dark Awakening.

Prior to this year, however, I stopped being interested in Transformers - it wasn't until around February, when I decided to watch Revenge of the Fallen on television, that I then got into the toys, and thus, the rest.

Casually? About 4 years old. Beast Wars was on Fox Kids at that point. I remember Tigatron and Megatron fighting each other (whether it happened or not, I don't know, but that's how I remember it).

Being aware that it was Transformers? Robots in Disguise when I was 8. Megatron was always cooler as a 10-changing purple monster rather than a pew pew pistol. It was also on Fox Kids (along with Power Rangers).

I was 11 (Grade 6) when I watched my first Transformers series.

The Show: Beast Wars. The Episode: Beast Wars pt 2. (The first full episode I watched was Equal Measures)

It would have been the year 2000, since that's when Beast Machines was on the air, and reruns of Beast Wars were also being aired back to back with it on YTV, making it kind of vague as to which was the prequel and which was the sequel. I was 4 so you really can't blame me for being confused.

Granted these could have been reruns of BM as well, which could mean that it was actually the year 2001 since I also remember watching RID while it was on the air as well, and I'm pretty sure there weren't really any reruns of it once Armada came about. So maybe I was actually 5. Either way these shows left enough of an impression on me that I remember them vividly enough despite having been so young (I mean BM was pretty different compared to everything else, save for maybe Reboot) and also led to a probably unhealthy obsession with the concept growing up.

I first got into Transformers in 2009, when I was 9 years old.

Transwarped from Transformers Animated was the first episode of any Transformers fiction I viewed, and boy was I hooked from there.

I was 7 or 8. RID (2001) is what introduced me to the brand, but Armada is my true “G1”

I wanna say I was around 9 or 10 when I saw the 2007 movie. I’m too lazy to do the math. But that was the first time I watched anything Transformers related. As for cartoons I wanna say I was maybe 12 or 13? Animated had an awful schedule but my dad got rips of the G1 cartoon for me to watch after I discovered that *gasp* Transformers was around since the 80’s! Lol.
