Looks like all 3 can store. But you can't store all the weapons and the scooter at once. (approx 1:30 in the video)

 

In Robot Mode, not in vehicle mode

 

I have him hold two of them and I put the third (the one where the round barrel is removable) inside his legs. I took it apart and there’s a part in each leg. The moto is stored in his backpack.

 

Oh right... "hold". My bad  

 

A few thoughts:

• The scooter doesn't have rolling wheels.
• The transformation is pretty good, and as a positive sign, the figure iss pretty forgiving of the somewhat inelegant process of getting the arms in and out.
  
• I do wish that the movement to widen the hips was a bit more definite. I'm pretty sure I have them fully extended, but there's no tactile feedback to say you're done.
• I do like his dorky aesthetic, with the thin arms, the windshield poking up and just very visibly being a robot who has chosen to disguise himself as a tiny 80's subcompact car with negative style points.
• I do like how, for once, a robot whose arms swing out from under the chest/hood has tabs to lock that transformation joint, rather than using that hinge as /in addition to) the outward shoulder joint.
  
• The chrome of the weapons seems to have alktered tab tolerances just a bit.
  
• I'm fine with the articulation, aside from two minor things. The first is the legs not having any backward swing, I think due to their swivel being offset? I won't need alot, just a bit to allow some lean back. The other thing is how the shoulders aren't centred, so rotating them changes where they sseem to connect to the body. Swing his arms forwards, and suddenly it seems like his shoulders have dropped down to bumper level.

I see that Skids does have a uniquegun, but unless you're really wedded to Skids as a character or toy, this is the better figure. More accessories, a more detailed and slightly larger head, nicer contrast between all his major colours (I know why Skids is two tone blue though).

Plus, it's like if, instead of finding the witwicky's as their human companions, it was your nan who made friends with the autobots. And now Optimus is forever fated to dress up as the 80's econobox that she's steadfastly refused to change for the last 30 years.

 

Only two? Nah, he can be armed with all three.  

 

Oh, hey, that works too! Not a perfect fit, but it stays well enough.

 

That was fast! Gonna get Both Skids and Reboost today despite the clusterEF of amiami (which should have been last week to be honest) via DHL

I love the old skool masterpiece goodness of this guy. Nice easy transformation that doesn't make he hate life. Nice fusion of toon and toy. Will buy recolors.

It’s getting a little cramped, so I’ll have to find a new way to display them when more come out. My biggest regret is not getting the black Ironhide someone put out because I falsely assumed TT would eventually get to it….. Also I may end up ordering all of the XT Skids and Trailbreaker and Hoist repaints, which will beef up my collection.

 

I have mine from Amazon Japan...it arrived last week. But it's staying under the Christmas tree until 12/25.

 

Look at what finally showed up.
Got a message yesterday that DHL handed off my boys to usps for final delivery. Today a DHL van pulls in my driveway and hands them to me. I then get a message from usps a few minutes ago that my package may be lost. I know shipping & deliveries are a mess with the holidays & the pandemic, but get your sh*t together DHL & usps!! 

 

Sorry Skids but Reboost wins as my fav! Though the sigil is so weenie and hard to find 

 

Recieved mine from HLJ yesterday. Yet to transform. Mainly been fiddling with the alt mode, which is quite fun in itself! I can't really see how to store the scooter without it rattling around (having the longer gun stored first helps) but the fact it and the weapons can be stored is cool.

I was thinking of cancelling my order of Crosscut, when I opted for this since he is mainly just a recolouring but... I'd kinda like a silver one. 

I'd kinda like Skids too... must... resist.... gnnnnn.

Only negative thing so far: hologram's leg keeps popping off. It's almost as bad as the arms on the Spike (or is it Daniel?) in the mech-suit that came with my MP Bumblebee. (The chubby edition.)

 

Same fig yeah. I had spike and it was less soft than this so the joint sort of tore away like skin
