The POTP mold has a cab bot combine with the trailer to be a big Optimus is what I think hes getting at, and honestly using the Star Convoy cab with the main trailer does show promise for a custom...but that's about as far as it goes

 

So the Evolution Prime does combine with the trailer like PMOP but it doesn’t resemble the actual PMOP figure at all and doesn’t have a base mode. Then there is the TR leader class PMOP homage that has a base mode and resembles the super mode figure but it doesn’t have an individual cab bot mode with a separate base mode and it is a headmaster with a weird helmet. Just like how Menasor got a new figure in CW but is now getting a (hopefully) more accurate, articulated, and stable figure, PMOP should get an update too.

I know Power Master Prime has very stuff look "ears" and isn't formed by Orion Pax. I guess he's right that this isn't very accurate.

I really don't see how you can get PM Optimus out of the POTP mold.
I can see how they could modify the TR one into a more accurate PM Optimus tho.

 

Why modify such an old mold when they can make a new one, though?

 

I mean he even has the feet of the inner robot on his back like PMOP does.

I don't see how it's so hard to grasp, POTP Optimus is the exact same concept and extremely close execution of PMOP that it's shocking he wasn't PMOP.

Besides it's not like a new PMOP would be a remold of POTP Optimus anyway rather than a new mold.

 

Just trying to understand the way of thinking in both sides. We would definitely get a brand new mold.

 

I'm hoping someone posts some pics soon of Core Hot Rod's sword in a deluxe bot's hands, so I can see if it is sized nicely enough for base Saber to use. I know it isn't the right sword, but close enough if I choose not to get the inevitable upgrade kit.

 

Everytime I see that release date of next December I hate myself a little more. Never buying a haslab or preordering from pulse again. This is ridiculous.

Miss the days of Titans return and combiner wars when Hasbro would just release new figures.

So, you're annoyed at a crowdfund for taking time to develop, and pre-orders because a lack of immediate stock? That just sounds like a lack of patience on your end, really.

 

What? Do you seriously not understand that the entire manufacturing process didn't start until Victory Saber was funded? Hasbro weren't going to drop the money on the moulds, which are incredibly expensive, before they knew if there was even enough demand to go forward with it.

And how are you unfamiliar with how pre-orders work? They're called pre-orders.

 

I mean, you knew that going into it, didn’t you? Making toys takes time. And what do you mean “just release toys”? Did they stop when I wasn’t looking? New toys are still coming out, broski.
