Since these officially open the door to more figures getting re-releases in Buzzworthy (rather than the line only being centered on Bee and the characters that had major interactions with him), it would be great if they’d re-release Studio Series Ironhide. I’ve got one, but that figure was an absolute bitch to find for a lot of people. I don’t even think it’s ever been acknowledged by Hasbro, either. Come on, Hasbro!

You'd think the design team getting on camera and telling us they made up the alt modes for the upcoming BB dudes on fhe fly would have tipped people off that "inspired by" was going to be a very important phrase going forward.

No but seriously "inspired by" is a very common phrase in design/art and it's not HasTak's fault you're not aware of that.

Cliffy and Kup aren't even the first example of them playing fast and loose with inspiration in Studio.

as for Breakdown i don't really have any strong thoughts on the character so i don't care about the prime design, if it forms a limb for menasor it's fine by me

 

I'm all in on redoing combiners if they're going to mix and match which universe the components come from. That could lead down some interesting roads.

 

No worries buddy!  Sometimes, the choices Hb does is really baffling. Arcee, Legacy well known character gets the plain Jane treatment then Lifeline gets the full make over? Sure we get what we pay for but what we pay for is indeed getting to higher higher higher while the return is lesser, hollower and breakabler  

 

Jtprime is this new wave linked in anyway to Silverstreak? One of my hobby horses is figuring out what that release is going to be - standalone Legacy red card exclusive or something in Buzzworthy?
