Don't know if it helps but they're on TFsource as well. Every order from them has slipped through customs this year.

The jump-starter's stomping boots look amazing don't they. For a repaint/pre mold et al, brainstorm gives me the twitch.

Always wanted the TMNT versions of those Buddies :)

Never got playing a NES in it's time really, everybody I knew was Sega somehow.

Yup, stuff you wouldn't dare to dream of actually arrives on occasion, I just treat it like a lottery win 'believe it when I'm holding it'!

    Ebay:
    X-Transbots - TFs Express

TFS-Express China has them, too. Since they supply Omegalock, they're a safe bet. Also possible that once they're due in, Omegalock will list them.

Oh, and my recent buys have sailed through without customs interference.

Hmm, I might have to get those SS Wheeljack and Brawn figures, they both look pretty nice. Soundwave too.

    Bye money.

Thanks. Have preordered them. Now to spend the next six months wondering if I messed up by not waiting for Omegalock.

My condolences too. I was certain I had said so in one of my posts but now I'm not sure :(  sorry about that!

Oooh that'd work... I feel a digibash coming on ;)
I actually feel like perhaps moreso than many SS figs that this group could be reheaded and work as more general Generations figs

I just wish if they're going to cast new people in roles they'd give them the freedom to play the role, rather than copy other more expensive actors' style.

He's a literal WALKman! Tape player that walks about ;)

    ...

Finally transformed Mentis today... his altmode is as would be expected. Though with the handles he looks vaguely like a speeder bike!

They’re all incredibly pretty but I only went for the Barry Sheene one :)

Is that POTP Scourge still knocking about? You’ve tempted me, you bugger!

Generation Selects Behold, Galvatron! Unicron Companion Pack mini review...

The box is neat but I couldn't say it's worth keeping tbh.

    20211206_151734.jpg

    20211206_151203.jpg

At this stage we know everything about this mold (yup, correct shoulders this time too), so I'm gonna try and show old AnnSummersatron in differently lit scenarios to sorta capture how he looks IRL.

Anything with a proper backdrop is him in the very bright photo box, and I'm using this blue background to try and highlight the paint. I'll get to the plastic colouring in a moment.

    20211206_131957.jpg

    20211206_132159.jpg

Thing is, in average shelf conditions even with very strong lighting, you're actually getting this:

    20211206_132603.jpg

So a lot less light shining through, making the translucent plastic seem much darker. Here's the headsculpt in context, and again, very bright, close lighting. The chest paint on mine ain't so hot:

    20211206_132743.jpg

And finally shots in sunlight and partial shadow.

    20211206_135845.jpg

    20211206_140031~2.jpg

So yeah, he's possibly much darker than you were expecting and arguably should have been a way lighter purple. I personally find him hard to place in terms of a shelf! Currently I'm thinking alongside the 35th Megs and Prime plus brown bread Prime, cos all those stand out a little too much one way or another for the SS86 shelf. Just like this guy.

His look sorta makes him difficult to satisfyingly pose IMO cos he really needs to be brightly lit to bring out those lines. That and the rather awful because of the colouring alt make him unessential even in a sale I'd argue.

    20211206_145013.jpg

Pish. Though his personal accessories wouldn't look out of place with other bots I reckon. This purple works.

    20211206_140629.jpg

And so on to the other accessories, possibly the ones you bought him for. I quite like the ships only I don't have Unicron so I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do with them (or the mini statues) yet.

    20211206_141015.jpg

    20211206_141738.jpg

The paint is applied well, which just makes the statues look worse tbh.

    20211206_143334.jpg

    20211206_142650.jpg

As you can see the Dinos have placement pegs. Generally the mini folk are OK but without Unicron I'll have to sit and definitively figure out if I need them around, and the truth is some look better than others! Oh, and even Arcee's mini statue is literally weak; we'll get a decent Fembot in Legacy maybe...

    20211206_142815.jpg

I genuinely don't know what to think about these, but I'm definitely struggling to find a use for them right now. They're certainly too out of scale for the Micromaster play pattern unless you remove the MM figures themselves :(

I don't think I can recommend this set all told, it's just far too specific however you look at it. An unessential figure that basically needs his own lighting, an accessory set bumping up the price that's likely only of use to Unicron owners, oh, and a pishy alt mode.

The Behold, Galvatron! Dirty Divorcee Companion Pack is a stretch too far IMO. Thinking on it, best I can come up with is head canoning Galvy into someone else or painting him tbh!

Spent about an hour building that fucking skeleton motorcycle that WeAreVolcanicus came up with. Excellent looking design, but my fucking triceratops has both tabs and ports too big so barely wants to connect with the others. somehow managed to pinch a finger doing it - I've spent actual blood building this fucking thing that has already fallen apart. I'm just going to smash them up and scatter the bones all over my beast wars display. Even if it looks shit it's gonna be cathartic.

'Tis a great day for Nemesis Primes!

It was my Wingfinger's fist and foot ports that were the struggle when I did it. Near Zero Friction. It was then I resolved to try the ol' superglue smearing on 'em. So I did but I must admit I am yet to do the full Maximal bike for possibly similar subconscious reasoning!
