Really hate the visible arms in car mode... Luckily they pop off at the mid bicep mushroom joint. I hate parts formers but hate arms just being at the side of the car moreso

Couple of quick photos. A definite upgrade on Springer 1.0. Colors are very bright in person. Most impressive MFT figure yet. No waist swivel, it would have been nice for posing with the sword but you can just about force him into some sword stances. Tempted to get MFT Magnus now.

Magnus is a good buy. If you like Springer, you'll like Magnus for sure.

The lack of a wrist swivel is perplexing. It would have made the helicopter mode look better as well if you could turn the hand around.

Got mine today and I'm pretty happy with him.

But yes, the one thing that would have made him better is more attention to the hands. The absent wrist swivel is the one articulation that I miss and I bet if they had worked on that, it would have meant thhey could have done a better job with hiding the hands in alt modes.

I won't say it's my last Legends Springer but he'll more than do for now.

Just getting into legends and wondering about this particular figure plus the brand in general...

Do they scale well with Magic Square or New Age or neither? And/or would this figure specifically scale well with either of those lines.

MFT is a great line and they have been the back bone of the legends game more or less.

their figs are on the + size mostly. but they will definitely work with MS figs. but some of their figs are a little too big for NA bots unless you are talking about the cons.

I have it with mostly MS figures and for me scales fine. That said I don't care much for scale and in my opinion triplechangers should be "brutes" or big bots among normal carbots.

The figure is great, bot mode is fantastic alt modes not brilliant but all the movie bots had a "weird" alt mode if you ask me.

I have the rest of the triple changers from MFT and love them. No other legends company have tried to do them but I don't see myself swapping any of them for a Na or Ms, not at least in the short-medium term.

Aside from that I have the dinobots and they are and feel cheap, the design is showing its age. I have Wreckwar and it's a nice figure.

In general I like their own designs (Mechanic Studios) and I'm looking forward for their Arcee and Trailbreaker.

They do OSKO from other companies and generally improve the original design...

Good price / quality ratio in general, but they have raised the price in the last releases.

    Thanks guys.

I've started collecting NewAge stuff (and some Iron Factory for my IDW fix) so was really wondering how their stuff would work along stuff like NA Galvatron and Ultra Magnus; maybe if the MFT is a little larger I should hold off although I am tempted by that Springer.

it should work fine with your bots. mags and galvatron are on the larger size. i was mainly talking about the NA car bros being to small for this.

there are alot of guys here who have a little of everything. maybe one them will be mind enough to toss some pics up for you.

MFT has been kind of hit and miss lately. I got their triple changers because Astrotrain was so good, but objectively they’re a bit tall for my MS/NA collection. I’ve decided I’d rather wait for MS or NA to make their versions of the characters since they will scale better but probably also just be better. MFT feel like placeholders to me for the eventual NA/MS version, and I’m done with placeholders. I spend enough on MS and NA with both of their prices rising.

Good point. Been there and done that with MP & don't want to repeat the same mistakes with Legends.

I might get Springer though just because of my love of the character.

I think it's a really neat figure. I feel like the $38 + shipping price was a little high for how small it is. It looks like a lot of domestic stores have it priced a little higher too. I don't collect Legends figures, so I'm not familiar with the scales and prices, I'm just a Springer fan too and normally buy multiple figures no matter who makes them.

If MS or NA ever make a Springer (I don't know if they mentioned it) I'll probably get those as well! Lol But until then, the MFT looks great and the robot mode really outshines the alt modes IMO.
