I do love your completely irrational dedication to mauling an entire toy line. It's been odd, satisfying, concerning and wondrous. 100% behind it despite being 100% opposed to it.

I think it’s because Skids has gone back to formula on what made Masterpiece so popular to begin with blending toy and cartoon although in the case of Skids it was probably easier to focus on the toy considering he was only a special guest.

It’s like the storyboard artists at Sunbow dropped the sheet with his name on it under the desk when deciding on what characters would appear on an episode.

I'm going to see if I can squeeze in an order for Scavenger & Bonecrusher before Christmas but if not they'll be the first robots I order for the New Year, followed by Hook and Long Haul.

Has there been any indication as to whether Magic Square Devastator will be a pantsformer or not?

'Ello chaps, just a quick reminder that the order window for my 2022 calendar ends on Wednesday! When during the day... I dunno. Probably when I wake up in the morning. Files for printing are all finalised, A4 card envelopes have arrived, so yeah... it's poised and pready to go. PM me if you want one!

I'm wondering if existing molds or those due in Legacy could be adapted for Defensor's components. Lol, commander class Inferno mold ftw!

I’m more than happy to buy the file and to put it to him to do a run of the ramps. Could you give me a sense of roughly what you’d be happy with as reimbursement for him.
The filament isn’t too pricey (20-25 per spool with what he’s using now), I think these pieces will tie up his machine for around 6 hours each and probably take him about 15 mins to set up each section.

There’s some sanding involved which can be time consuming depending on the item - don’t know what these will come out like and how much sanding is required so maybe best to think of him not doing the sanding, though I’m sure he’s give step by step instructions or a wee video.

He’s a magic bloke so i know he’d not be looking to fleece anyone.

there’s some straight ramp extensions and adapter sections too on thingiverse that might be worth looking at too.

I’ve never been a fan of “J lings” :lol

Haha thanks mate. We always do terribly away at West Ham (last year being the exception) so I wasn’t confident anyway. We’re having a pretty turgid couple of games which is annoying but we’ve also had some key injuries too. We really miss the Kante brothers (he’s so good it’s like there’s two of him) and Alonso just isn’t good enough to cover what Chilwell brings to the team.
Mendy shit the bed today but I’ll take one bad performance considering how absolutely excellent he’s been for us ever since we signed him.

I’m interested to see how you line up in the future! Do you think Ronaldo will still get regular game time?

Honest question. Do you feel he needs a new version? What is it you would like them to improve? Other than the price of the Encore, I feel the mold holds up well.

Is it purely a scale issue to put him in line with recent releases?

After the first year of Beast Wars, I feel we're getting into diminishing returns on new releases. Legacy Laser Prime is a good example of this.

This, this makes me deeply uncomfortable....

Bloody hell. You do get a bit jaded to the fact that you have these things that go from one to another through just an insane marvel of engineering. What's the transformation like? I'm not into G1 Skids, but this pic had me thinking about it.

I'm struggling to remember the name, but I have the Generations version of this with the shiny golden chest as my IDW Grimlock stand in. I really like this design.

Mate, I'm this close to buying that damn fire station next, and I've not even got round to unboxing Inferno yet!

I pulled out the original for some photos in the summer, he kind of still holds up, not sure how much a new version would add. Now if they coloured her yellow I'm all in....

Just back home from a day in Brum visiting my dad and boy. Took him to the cinema for the first time since before covid, and we watched Ghostbusters Afterlife.

Wow. No spoilers obviously, but what a triumph of a film managing to stay on the continuity of 1984 whilst still writing the most amazing of love letters to it….. only topped off by paying homage and respect to one of the original’s deceased creators.

In the last 5 mins, I actually punched the air, and then wouldn’t you know it, immediately after, 2 bits of popcorn got in my eyes and made them water.

Fucking brilliant, and in my opinion Afterlife is THE standard on how to redirect a franchise without ruining its foundations/trying to rewrite history. Love it.
