No fancy poses or anything, this time, but I got a few things in the mail over the holiday.



Pretty excited about ER Sky Lynx. He looks pretty sharp with the MFT Dinos. He's a little big in comparison to the Legends combiners, but not so much that I don't want him on the shelf. The IF Powerglide is lovely, even if he doesn't come with a flight stand. I am going to get him one and get him posed up with Jetfire. As usual, he's pretty chunky, but that's just the IF M.O.

The Insecticons and the camera bros. are awesome. Those tiny bots, for me, is where NA shines. Fortunately, I got both teams for a steal, otherwise I'd probably never have picked them up.

 

So many times I've wanted to pick up those insecticons but ultimately decided they would just be too small for the rest of my gang, as nice as they are, hoping one day for Ms ones or mft ones.

 

i am definitely feeling the new IF bots...

 

They do look really cool together, do you plan on getting more of their new releases?
I was going to custom a legends TW black Wheeljack into Lockdown until I saw the new IF one coming soon, I think he looks awesome dead on to the idw one from Drifts comics (my favourite style outbof all the current Lockdowns)

 

yeah i plan on picking all the new IDW figs up. but i don't have a real pull to the samurai bots.

i will grab grimlock and maybe the van bros. but if there are new idw versions shown they will be skipped for those.

hopefully they have some amazing reveals this month at SGC.

i was against them when they first dropped because of their size. but they definitely grew on me and i totally recommend the little bots.

i would love for MS to drop a larger size or even MFT with some cheaper ko's.

but for now they work and if a better set of bugs come around i will still use them as tiny spies.

 

Absolutely love the Bender cameo, he fits right in.

Didn't expect today this guy at my door but he is so welcome. Well done Mechanic Studios. Minor complain I will like the eyes painted in a darker/brighter tone whatever to make them pop a little more. Probably something I can fix with a minor paint app.

Thinking on getting their Hot Rod too to put them together.

 

I tryed a few test shots with my combiners to see how they would look with a selection of figures

 

I almost did untill I got Soundwave and tapes, if MS can get that kind of articulation on Rumble and Frenzy, I know they will do better with the insecticons. as NA has done

 

I've been working on something for the installation few weeks I wanted to share on here you all, I wasn't happy ultimately with Mft or IF design of Devcon so based on that one cartoon he was in I made my own

 

I just got Hot Rod recently and compared to those two, "lackluster" is the best word to describe. Feels small and just not the same caliber. I was so disappointed I just put him back in the box to think about whether to even keep it.
