2 Gigapower Dinos cost me $120 2 months ago, that was originally quoted around $140 with post-shipping refund. Sounds about right unfortunately. I've stopped purchasing on Taobao for now as there's not much benefit over ShowZ and similar sites when coupling the pricing increase with the 2+ month shipping times. Once rates come back down I'll consider it again.

    Hey guys,

Has anyone ever had a problem like this? I'm going to query Taobao customer service but this seems odd to me, at now 8 days without an update. I've never seen the local shipping take this long..

Not sure Taobao customer service will know what's going on. Is your warehouse in ShaTian, DongGuan? Might be more useful to contact your warehouse via their chat.

Is your seller's address in FengGang?
Looking at the movement, it went from FengGang to ShaTian, and then BACK to FengGang again. Feels like your parcel was rejected at the warehouse and is sent back to the seller.

Maybe can also ask your seller to ask his courier company as well?

Thanks for the replies guys. Seems you're right. Contacted my seller too and he seemed to be surprised and clueless... Odd... If it had been sent back to him so long ago, he should be aware of it. Maybe dodgey?

Taobao customer service said it was rejected due to "bad package" and have suggested the item sent was not what was ordered but seller remains adamant. They are going to find out a final resolution for me and advise within 24hrs.

It's an official taobao warehouse yeah? Usually the only resolution is to seek a refund then make a brand new order with your seller. Since the TB CSO didn't mention contraband or IP related issue (I.e. "hasbro" in the description) it should be possible using the same listing.

Might be due to the packaging being damaged or not suitable for rough handling. They will also outright reject a package if they can't scan it and/or the label is incorrect or damaged. The warehouse identifies your account and order using the "@xxxxxx#yyyyyyyyy#" code at the end of the receiving address. If this code doesn't work they'll send it back without notifying you.

That's a great price. PSX charged 660 + 12 (for domestic shipping) to warehouse.

I think a 1.5kg-2kg package is roughly around $60-$70 so yeah, unfortunately the number is about right. No familiar with Giga, but except FT, I don't see worth buying anything from Taobao at this moment because of the crazy shipping rate.

Do you think Superbuy shipping rates will go back down after January 1 once the holiday shipping period is over? Did we experience something like this last year?

it is hard to think the shipping rate will go down in the near future given the pandemic

When you guys apply for replacement parts, do the sellers usually always tell you it takes 15 days?

I've had to apply for replacement parts directly with 3P companies a few times before, and they always reply immediately and send out within 1-2 days, so I don't know why sellers like to say 15 days when it doesn't take that long.

I feel like that's a ploy by them to run down the timer for you to "accept goods" (usually 15 to 20 days?). After that, the system automatically "accepts" and default gives them a good rating. So you can't give them a bad rating if anything goes wrong later.

Also gives you less time to apply for refund. Once goods are "accepted", the window for refund is 15 days after that.

ZW made me wait 15 days, then tell me that actually they can't get the replacement, because the part that needs replacing is pinned, and would require changing the entire top half of the bot, since almost everything is pinned and hardly any screws.

They instead offered to exchange the entire product at my own shipping expense, or 25 RMB partial refund on a 280 RMB item.

FYI, I didn't break anything. Was a part missing because the factory pinned it wrongly, took the part out and didn't bother to fix it:

You have to click something like "confirm receipt" of the item you preorder so they get the money. For pre-order, sellers usually just click "shipped" but actually not sending out anything so you have to click "confirm receipt" to complete the circle.

What is it? MT or KO MP? I bet it is really not easy to get replacement part for neither of them though.

My last EUB-A of six shipped at the end of September finally is scheduled for delivery today.

How's the recent experience regarding EUB and EMS with Superbuy?

KO MP. Probably too hard to replace the part, so ZW decided to just offer a meager 25 RMB refund instead. They even asked me if I can fix it myself. Ridiculous when I don't even have the missing part.

I applied for "refund and return goods", and got Taobao to intervene. I also proved to them that sending it back will be costly. Taobao said they can offer 150 RMB red packet from their side + the seller refund 50 RMB refund back to my card, so total 200 RMB refund. And I keep the faulty product.

I initially paid about 210 RMB after discounts, and an additional 20 RMB for shipping. So total 230 RMB paid.

I was also told by the Taobao CSO that in future if there are any defects in the product, I should report it to the seller or Taobao within 48 hours of PHYSICALLY receiving the product. Then they can fight a case for the seller paying for the shipping if I want to return it. If not, they can't. So basically the time starts when the logistics say the goods have been delivered, NOT when you click "Accept Goods" in the system.

So try to check your stuff as soon as you get them, and report it immediately if there's anything wrong. In case you need to send it back, at least you have an option of seller paying for shipping if Taobao sides with you.

I also usually video my packages being opened, as further proof. But I realize that it's hard to send videos to Taobao. I can only send it via their AilWangWang chat, and it only allow 15 seconds video maximum. Can also email them, but email attachment have small file limits.

And Taobao CSO's always say they can't open links on their side, if I try to upload the video instead. They seem reluctant to.

I know Google, YouTube, and a lot of file-sharing sites are blocked in China. The only China file sharing site that I found is WeiYun, which needs WeChat to log in. Most of the rest require China mobile number to create account.

At the end of the day, buying KO MP is the same as buying MP in terms of replacement parts. Basically there is no support whatsoever.

Luckily your loss is not too much. It is good to know Taobao can offer subsides in this type of situation.

When you say MP, you referring to TT?

KO MP's have replacement parts. I've replaced a broken arm and a faulty gun for my KO MP 18 Streak before.

Maybe it also depends on the seller, but I think most reputable sellers should have replacements.

If my Hound part was easy to replace, I'm sure ZW would have.

I had a good seller for that. Instead of making me wait for the factory to send the parts, she took the parts from a brand new set instead. I didn't even ask her to do that.

I had to teach her how to transform Bluestreak to get the arm out, though. LOL.

But in general, I think most stuff that I've come across, even non-MPs, or cheap Hasbro KO's, have replacements.

I don't buy FT, XTB, MMC. So I dunno about those.
