It took them over three years to actually get around to doing a BB Wheeljack or Soundwave, which by your logic it obviously must mean that they care more about Scrapmetal and Jolt as characters; a clear indication that Hasbro is trying to ignore Bumblebee and cares more about RotF.

So maybe it DOESN'T have to do with that and you're just making extrapolations to fit this baseless narrative that Hasbro somehow wants to erase or forget about Bayverse, even though the fact that this line exists in the first place is because of it.

You might be onto something. That's probably why The Fallen is getting an actual leader-class release and the least important out of the movie Shockwaves will be stuck as teeny-tiny core class for who knows how long.

You keep saying they're not going to cancel them...with no proof of their existence beyond a leak of information that is entirely subject to change. It's not like the full cast of ROTF is going to be made anyway, the shitshow that happened over the Twins ensures Hasbro will never touch them again.

I mean, what proof do you have beyond a single listing and the belief that Hasbro is a company that wouldn't cancel unannounced product at the drop of a hat if they felt a better return on investment there? Furthermore, they're probably going to be going full steam ahead on development of the ROTB toys so why would they devote time and energy to shoving Fallen, a character from a different film, into the product line they're obviously going to use for mainline ROTB?

Indeed, why would they waste a leader class slot on Fallen at this point when ROTB is under development? I mean, the average Leader Class assortment for an entire line is three, so that already accounts for Prime and Scourge, with the third one likely going to Primal or another bad guy. There's really no room for Fallen, a character from a film over a decade ago, in the face of the newest film Hasbro would want to utilize to move product.

Scrapmetal was for Devestator who was a very expensive set, while Jolt was done because they likely wanted to get the Volt licensing out of the way.

Well, no, the line exists because TLK did so poorly that Hasbro had to consolidate all the movie lines into one solid line to spread out development costs. Studio Series was the Bumblebee mainline, after all.

The farther out from those movies we are, the less hype there would be to make the figures. I mean, Hasbro already got sort of undermined with Galvatron thanks to that third party Galvatron that came out which is better than anything Hasbro could affordably make anyway.

 

Oh. So that’s what they were going for with Soundwave’s alt mode. I can practically hear the 3D printers turning on for upgrade kits.

 

what proof do you have that hasbro not doing them, other then your feeling for it, there no proof there stopping it, them not being revealed yet does not mean there not happening

I'm happy to hear this news. I'm out on the Omega Sentinel because I don't do repaints in general, and certainly not expensive ones, but the news is still good to hear. Love it, love it, love it!
