I still wish some of Star Saber's stretch goals would have been the Armada Star Saber and the Prime Star Saber, that would have been pretty funny

The original is a bit too heavy for modern figures.

I'd like the minicons to come back but have someone like Hot Shot or Starscream packed in with a more anime accurate weapon mode for them with the minimal handle and blue blade

Those BAF pieces probably only exist because the licensing fees are less than Star Wars licensing fees.

Good luck with that. As far as we know, all the minicon molds are degraded to the point where they can't be used anymore.

HasTak pumped out at minimum 10 versions of each team, with increasingly worse QC each new batch.

breaks my heart to hear, they were cool and this just means no reissues ever without an arm and a leg price

Didnt they buy old copies of toys to make new molds for, like, the dinobots reissues?

With how poorly the micro masters sold, I doubt they would want to bother.

Seriously? I knew they weren't the greatest, but I loved the little buggers. I have nearly all of them except for the Astro-Squad set.

(For the record, Cassette guys don't truly count as micromasters. Never have, never will.)

Well, Mini-cons are a lot more varied in design and transformation scheme.

The Micromasters we got were all pretty boring, just being cars that almost all had the same exact transformation. That is where/why they failed imo

I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying that the team will probably have to fight really hard to get them made.

Dinobots have never been reissued because the original molds are stolen. They're remade molds before, but only for characters that would sell fast. Minibots are too much of a risk without any modern media backing them.

Still upset that they left out the best member of the off road patrol.

Easiest and cheapest route would be to reissue a redeco of the micromaster sky team and add a third member for the middle of the blade.

I'm not sure that would be the best route, though. I doubt any figure smaller than Commander would be able to hold the weapon if a 3rd figure was added to the mix.

This is hilariously sad. This just goes to show how much Hasbro is willing to sacrifice for the sake of profits.

The factory I worked with makes those plastic lids you put over the cups in McDonald's and they used the highest quality mold for those. They have to ship millions and millions of these lids so it's easy for the molds to break down, but they were at least willing to pay for high quality molds.
