Guys, something cool might've happened! In the picture from the hasbro roundtable that showed off Slammer's tower mode, there's a bunch of possible hints to future figures in the background files (some were leaked a while ago) and among them was a file labeled "Botbots awesome"!

Can't exactly share the pic because my break is almost over but there might be some more hope hanging in there from an official capacity!

I really want the convenience store one, would love to see pictures once people get theirs.

And yeah, that's how starved we've been, a simple folder title had me going "It's happening, cue the music"

 

Maybe If I complain more we'll get a release date for the cartoon

 

What’s interesting to me is that, when we got all those leaked product codes back in January (the pizza and controller vehicles etc.), the two other leaks were a new Transformers Monopoly set (which was released in June), and a listing for “Dropkick Dino” (Don’t know what this was, maybe Studio Series Dino or possibly the Buzzworthy Dropkick set - either way it’s probably already been released).

What’s the longest we’ve had to wait between a leaked listing and an eventual reveal? Because it’s coming up to a year now and these Botbots figures have yet to materialise…

When did Series 5 come out? April 2020 or thereabouts? In four months’ time it will have been two whole years since the last Botbot came out.

 

There is of course the usual caveat of Covid throwing a spanner in the works throwing off the timings.

 

That’s true! But if the pandemic is the primary cause of the delay, it just seems odd that the Botbots line has been uniquely stymied, in a way that other Transformers lines haven’t been.

That vaulted him into the top five, even. I’ve been running one Botbot every day since March 8th and it looks like I’m gonna run out of them in January. It’s very likely the five most popular ones as chosen by the people are going to wind up being:

I know we're all anxious about the cartoon's release and if the toyline will continue.
