Found R.E.D. Reformatting Megatron and Optimus Primal at Russellville Wal-Mart. I was going to get that Megatron but RED figures are now ringing up $22.98. It's hard enough paying that much for a deluxe but I'm not going to pay that much for a RED figure so I told them to put it back.

They're really great figures as far as screen looks and articulation.

Picked up a Revalations He-Man with a gift card, (free toy!) 20211127_224000.jpg 20211127_224105.jpg
And Instead of rePAINTING him into this: IMG_7393-1.jpg
I'm gonna try my hand at dyeing. Then buy a battle cat if that goes well and do the same and make this Screenshot_20211129-213908_Google.jpg f153b7b225c3213c6108763b62b1b9df.jpg

Stinkor arrived, and he does stink... 20211130_200533.jpg
    Even HE smells it.
It's not the same smell as the original but not even close. I was pretty disappointed when I opened it and didn't have that wave of nostalgia hit me.
It's like a burnt plastic smell without the burnt part...
I DO have a plan to change that tho. :ev:  20211130_212658.jpg 20211130_214113.jpg

4 hours of letting him cook last night.
He doesn't disassemble except head and hands so I can't take him apart to cook the torso longer...
Anyone have any experience on how to make a harder plastic take dye?
I'll take suggestions or a direction on who to ask on this website.
    Otherwise, it's looking awesome!
I may have to just paint the torso and be done with it. 20211201_235723.jpg

Nice little MOTU collection. I said I was going to go slow on MOTU Origins and I end up getting Panthor. Amazon had him for $14 so I caved. Skeletor has to have his ride after all. After getting him in hand, he does look weird not being flocked but $14 vs. $40 for the flocked one...

Can't help you on the plastic dye situation but he is looking really good so far. I remember hearing that the Revelation figures are not quite as modular as the Origins line which is a shame. Hopefully you can figure out something because that anti-eternia He-Man is looking pretty awesome thus far. Also can't wait to see Anti Battle Cat.

As for sightings, I checked Russellville Wal-Mart since Kingdom Blaster has been sighted but nothing new there.

You mentioned Cliffjumper and to be honest, up until that, I had completely forgotten about SS Cliffjumper. He and the DOTM Wreckers have been the only SS figures I never did see in stores.

    Little?
    LITTLE??!!??
DO YOO KNOE how BIG that bookshelf IS??? :throw
I really didn't mean for that shelf to become so full but that's how it happens.  And thank ya!

So since u mentioned that you didn't mean to go all in on origins; do you have MOST of them now? Lolz!! See above paragraph!!
I hear ya about panthor but honestly after seeing him on the shelf for SO long now, I LOVE being able to see the sculpted fur like battlecat.

    Strange question hot-shot...
Can you remember the original smell? Like have you actually seen a g1 in person and smelled it to SEE if it still had the smell AND relate that original smell to a scent that you know now as an adult???

    Patchouli.

It's a typical incense smell and the oil or "essence" is often used for beard oils, topical relief, perfumes and even holistic well-being and relaxation.
I have a freind at work who uses these oils and essences for different reasons and she hooked me up with this: 20211202_221400.jpg
Since I have recently had practice "cooking" a figure and it didn't melt...
I plan to infuse -if you will- my modern stinkor in a pot of almost boiling water with this scent to see if it will hold it and smell like the original.
This scent is SO frickin close to the smell of the original toy it's unreal.

Well great, that rock knocked down my shelf! :p

As for Origins, I dont have no where near most. All I have are:

    *Original He-Man
    *Original Skeletor
    * Man At Arms
    *Basic Hordak
    *Sky Sled with Adam
    *Wind Raider
    *Battle Cat
    * Panthor.

Looking at next week's Target ad, more MOTU will be on sale including a $23 Land Shark. Figure wise, I still want Ram Man, Man E Faces, and Orko for sure.

What cooking method did you use for dying he-man there? I did some dyeing years ago... some successful, some not as much since some small TF parts could easily warp.

Patchouli is what people say was supposedly used in the original 1980s Stinkor.
